Kyle Richards is currently in the middle of filming the new season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. "We're still filming. We're right in the thick of it," Kyle Richards tells PEOPLE about Season 5. "I think it's going to be a very exciting season. There's some new people on the show that we already have existing relationships with."
Although Richards, 45, remains tight-lipped about who is joining the Housewives cast, she says not everyone is getting along.
"I wouldn't really use that word," Kyle says with a laugh about the dynamic between the new and returning housewives. "What does getting along really mean around here? I guess you'll just have to tune in and see."
As fans know, there's never really a drama-free moment on the show.
"I think a lot of people are going to want to see what happens with old relationships, some are attempting to mend, some are mending and some, you know, I don't think will ever be mended," Richards says.
As for her own relationships, Richards says her friendship with costar Lisa Vanderpump is a "work in progress."
"That will definitely be addressed this season, for sure. You know, right now we're actually OK," says Richards, who exchanged a fair share of words with Vanderpump at the Season 4 reunion. "We've gone through a lot together, and to me it was a friendship worth working on."
You can also expect the cameras to catch the housewives' other not-so-glamorous moments.
"On the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I was constantly uncomfortable with my eyes. It became annoying filming the show and having to turn away every few seconds and put drops in my eye," she says of her chronic dry eye. "[After] a long time of suffering like that, I finally went to my eye doctor. I have a little routine [now, and] I've seen a huge improvement."
But the best part about doing reality television?
"I think documenting things that happen with my family," says the mom of four daughters. "It's like a professional home video. I think that part's fun."
