The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kathy Wakile has just-released her cookbook, Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet, which is a collection of 75 of her favorite treats. And it's a hit. The book has debuted in the Top 10 on Publishers Weekly's Nonfiction List, according to Newsday, after hitting retailers on September 2.
"Humbled & Grateful! Thank You to all that made this possible!" she tweeted about her impressive debut, which includes recipes for Caramel Apple Ravioli, Strawberry Shortcake Puffs, among other delicious treats.
Prior to releasing Indulge earlier this month, Wakile spoke to Bravo's The Dish about the release. "I had so much fun during this process, cooking and sharing my creations is both a joy and therapy for me," she said, adding it was her family (including sister Rosie Pierri, husband Richie and her brothers) who taste-tested the recipes that made the final cut.
"I can always count on them to be completely honest," she said. "Victoria and Joseph's friends were also great too...and I can't forget Jacqueline Laurita. She was always a willing tester."
With Indulge a hit, she's already got her next project lined up. But don't expect it to be as sugary sweet. "It will be a savory book, appetizers and small plates," she says. "I love appetizers and serving small plates. It's the best way to entertain!"
Congrats Kathy!!
