She may no longer be on Real Housewives of New Jersey, but Caroline still keeps and eye on the ladies and the drama. In a new interview with Star Magazine, Caroline admits she watches the show "on and off, but just because it¹s been a very busy few months for me. I left because I was done with it, but I don't think the show [itself] should be done."
What's holding most of her attention these days? Her new series, Manzo'd With Children, which is set to debut on Sunday, October 5 at 9/8c on Bravo. It follows her and husband Al dealing with the ups (and downs) of having her children move back into their house—while also planning Lauren's wedding.
"For me, it would be amazing if this show did well," she admits. "It would only make me appreciate this crazy ride I've been on for the past six years even more!"
"I remember very clearly the day the boys left," she continues. "It was tearing the Band-Aid off in one shot, but after a while you adjust. Now, they're back, and all those things you got used to living without being a short-order cook, doing laundry are back in your face all at once. So it's a little hectic at times."
Wedding planning for Lauren is also taking up much of her time—and Caroline reveals that Al is more of a Bridezilla than his own beloved daughter. "Lauren is very conscious of things and sets limits and budgets. Al's the maniac!" she says. "She's his only little girl, and he's always spoiled her. When we went gown shopping, we called Al and said, 'OK, this is what the gown is.' He said, 'Is that it?'"
