Brandi Glanville is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Brandi puts herself in Kim's shoes and congratulates the other ladies on their success. Brandi writes:
"This episode was filled with many tears for me. First I can't imagine how helpless Yolanda must have felt not being able to get to her daughter's side. It really hit home for me with only having my children 50% of the time. There is nothing worse as a mother then knowing your kids need you, and you cannot get to them. Thank goodness for dads and stepparents. I have not yet had to release one of my children out into this cold, hard, cruel world. I can't imagine how emotional and worried I will be when I do. I mean I'm already nervous, and I have years before that happens. All I can do is be the best mother I can be and prepare my kids to the best of my ability and then really the rest is up to them…scary!
I literally have been watching Eileen Davidson on soaps operas since I was in middle school and that was a long time ago. I'd never met her despite having an ex-husband from the soap opera world, as well, but always thought she played a great villain and was very pretty. Cut to the Emmys and being in the business for so long. Congrats!
I really enjoy doing my podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered. It's fun, and the more I practice at it, the better I get. I've been plugging away at my podcast for about a year now and am finally starting to make a little money doing it. Since my divorce, I've come to realize that nothing is forever, and it's always good to have a skill and/or trade should I need to work until the day I die. With my expensive children, I just may need to do so. So I'm very thankful to my agent Alec who talked me into trying this and to Norm Pattiz for the opportunity.
Watching Kim and Monty prepare for Brooks wedding also brought tears to my eyes. Kim really has been through soooo much in such a short life, and she really is a survivor. I can't imagine having my ex-husband living with me down the road after our divorce and nursing him through an illness, all while planning our child's wedding and taking care of the rest of the family as well. This woman is carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders and handling it better then I ever think I could. Brooke made a gorgeous bride and everything looked perfect.
Lisa Vanderpump officially has a star on the walk in Palm Springs, which suits her perfectly as she has always talked about her love of the place as well as wanting to bring all the women to the house they always stay at and love so much. Congrats!"
