Recap: Hollywood Exes Season 2 - Episode 8

Drea and Shamicka bond while shopping for their upcoming Utah trip. Shamicka tells Drea if she’s going to wear fur, Drea is unsure because she knows how sensitive Mayte is about fur. Drea reveals that Mayte doesn’t want Drea buying fur however Shamicka tells Drea she doesn’t have to buy it if she already owns a fur jacket or coat and Drea loves the idea. These two are great together. Shamicka tells Drea that she has a “ghetto” side so they shouldn’t underestimate her kindness and I love it.  

Sheree finds it hard not to buy fur. Jessica dares Sheree to buy some fur since they know how sensitive Mayte is about it. Sheree reveals that if it looks cute, fur or not she would buy it.

Jessica cozies up to Sheree to the idea of Jessica and Drea possibly being roommates in Utah. Sheree hopes they’re able to resolve their issues before their trip to Utah.  

Jessica and Drea meet up and surprising they are wearing similar outfits. Jessica tells Drea that she is tired of this nonsense drama and Drea reveals to Jessica that she has been going through a lot lately and has been bery stressful for her lately.

Jessica apologizes to Drea and they bury the hatchet. Finally, they made it and let’s hope it stays this way.

The girls have a blast on the way to their vacation house, talking about Sheree’s manly hands, Mayte’s attraction to men with make-up. Shamicka and Nicole discuss about being with manly men and not being interested with metro sexual men.

Mayte demands her own bedroom after noticing that all the solo rooms have been taken and she’s left with bunk beds and she is not happy with it. Mayte complains about it to the point of getting of the rest of the ladies nerves. Shamicka then trades her room with Mayte and she has no problem sleeping anywhere, now that’s an excellent hostess.

Drea tries to calm Mayte down after her argument with Nicole and Shamicka over wearing fur. Mayte tells Shamicka why is she wearing fur and tells her to view a video on how fur coats are made by killing an animal. Shamicka refuses to watch the video and responds by saying, last time she checked her mom was in California and not in Utah. Shamicka tells Mayte she is a grown woman and doesn’t need anyone’s permission. Nicole gets irritated with Mayte as she feels she is walking on egg shells with her over her love for fur. Mayte feels insulted and refuses to go to dinner with Sheree, Nicole and Shamicka.

Next week the drama continues with fur-gate. Nicole getts pisses off at both Jessica and Mayte for burning her fur hat, Utah heats up with more drama with the exes.
