Real Housewives of Orange County stars Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge and Meghan King Edmonds recently sat down with People and opened up about plastic surgery. From boob jobs to Botox, the first ladies from Bravo tell-all. Check it out below!
"Part of the problem with being on TV is you're critical of yourself," Vicki Gunvalson tells PEOPLE. "I want to look as best I can, so if it takes plastic surgery, dieting, working out or whatever, I will do it."
The OG of the OC has had a breast augmentation, nose and chin job, in addition to the tummy tuck she had more than 15 years ago after having her two children.
"Having children definitely takes a toll on the body," says Gunvalson, who makes sure to get an hour workout like running or weight training into her schedule everyday. "As you grow older and you want to look your best, you do what you have to do."
Gunvalson also says Botox and fillers are not out of the question.
"I try to do it very minimally though, I don’t want to look like a plastic Barbie doll," she says. "I'm all about trying to look as natural as possible."
Tamra Judge has gone under the knife five times to get her boobs done – but she has no regrets.
"It is what it is," the Real Housewives of Orange County star tells PEOPLE. "It's a personal choice and for me. I don't do it for the public or my husband. It's something you do to make yourself feel better."
Judge got her first breast augmentation soon after she had her first child because she "just wanted a little perk."
That was just the beginning. "Then I got them done after my third kid. I thought that instead of getting a lift, I'd fill in the extra skin," she says. "That was a big mistake because then they were too big."
Judge has since had her breasts reduced, and then completely removed the implants about three years ago. Most recently, she decided to put them back in.
"This time, because I work out so much and most breast tissue is just body fat, I decided to get very small implants," she says. "They're very, very small for a little bit of fullness."
Judge also explained she's enjoyed her range of breast sizes throughout the years.
"When they were big in the '90s, I loved them!" she says. "And then, it's a lifestyle thing I guess, as you get older you don't want those big giant boobs."
RHOC newbie Meghan King Edmonds describes her boob job as 'liberating.'
"I had felt it would be nice to not have to wear a push up bra anymore, and I could afford it. So I went in and I paid cash," Edmonds tells PEOPLE of her decision to go from an A cup to a D cup when she was 26 years old. "It felt really liberating."
Then, she says, a bit of remorse set in.
"I initially regretted it for the first couple weeks. I felt really vain, shallow and like I wasted a lot of money," she says. "I felt like I was going against everything I stood for as far as feminism and owning your own body. I thought, 'Men don't get plastic surgery, why should women?'"
But Edmonds eventually embraced her decision.
"Once the pain went away and they settled in, I felt really good about it," she says. "Especially now, I love it because I got really into fitness when I started dating my husband [former baseball player Jim Edmonds] and I lost a ton of body fat, so I have nothing but an implant anymore."
"I don't think I would be comfortable with the body I have now if I didn't have breasts," she adds.
