It's been nearly four years since Alexia Echevarria's son was a victim of a traumatic car accident back in 2011. We saw a bit of he's recovery during the third season of the Bravo hit show - most recently, the Real Housewives of Miami star shared a video on her Instagram page of her son teen playing a little basketball looking better than ever.
"Sharing a bit of my happiness with you all this morning!!" she wrote. "@frankierosello #Blessed #MiraclesExist #Health #Fitness #Summer #PaceHighSchool #BasketballCamp."
In August 2011, the then 13-year-old was in a car accident that left him in a Pediatric Intensive Unit for three months and later in inpatient rehabilitation for an additional three months. Frankie was recently a part of a groundbreaking ceremony at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was treated following his accident. Last month, on Mother's Day, Alexia reflected on her two sons, noting that being a mom is the "most difficult title in the world yet the most gratifying."
"Life holds some gifts and surprises...... and by far the greatest gift , blessing and accomplishment in my life has been these two boys !!" Alexia wrote. "I am so proud to be your mother. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers."
