Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi may no longer be on the Bravo hit reality series, but that doesn’t mean that the blonde beauty won't ever return to the show that made her a household name! In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Rossi revealed to that she’s been asked to return to the show.
“They’ve already asked me to come back and do some stuff,” she said while promoting Clutter Storage. “They’d have to pay me a lot of money! I love the fans and I never say never, but at this point I have a lot of great projects going on in my life and I’m excited about moving on to the next thing.”
Although Rossi confessed that she has not watched RHOC since she left after season eight, she reveals that she still keeps in touch with most of her former co-stars.
“I speak with Heather and Terry [Dubrow], Lydia [McLaughlin] and a couple of the older season cast mates like Jeana [Keough], Peggy [Tanous] and Lauri [Peterson],” she said.
Although the cameras stopped rolling for her, Rossi admitted that there is still drama with her former co-stars.
“I don’t speak with Vicki [Gunvalson] or Tamra [Barney Judge],” which Rossi famously feuded with during her last season on the Bravo hit reality show.
With recent rumors of cast shakeups from Real Housewives of New York to Real Housewives of Atlanta, Rossi applauded Bravo for “starting to realize that fans don’t like people who just do things for TV or create content to destroy other people’s lives.”
Rossi added, “There are several people that are on these shows who are willing to say and do anything for content. And just to keep their paycheck.”
Housewives who fake drama for the cameras is the reason Rossi decided to leave the show.
“That’s not the way I was on the show and that’s part of the reason I wanted to step away from the show,” she said. “It’s meant to be a reality show and when it starts going to a new level where people are making up lies about your family and your business and it starts to affect you outside of the show, that draws the line for me.”
But despite the cons of being on the Bravo show, Rossi admitted that she is “very grateful to be part of the show for half a decade.”
