Kandi Burruss To Executive Produce Demetria McKinney's Upcoming Debut Album!

Looks like Demetria McKinney will be returning one way or another to the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. As we reported back in April, the '100' singer got a record deal with eOne Music. Now according to a new report, McKinney, who's working on her debut album will work with hit maker Kandi Burruss.

According to OK! Magazine, Burruss will be the executive producer of McKinney’s upcoming debut studio album, Officially Yours, and that process will likely be a major part of the new season of the Bravo hit reality series.

Initially it was reported that Claudia Jordan and McKinney got kicked to the curb following NeNe Leakes' exit. Despite firing rumors, McKinney and Jordan denied reports that they had been fired from RHOA, saying that their contracts had not been terminated.

But a source later told OK! Magazine that the duo was in talks for their own reality TV series, with the beauties being spotted leaving the Viacom offices in New York City back in July.

As we reported, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams are all coming back for Season 8. Over the past few weeks, Shereé Whitfield, Kim Fields, Marlo Hampton and Amiyah Scott have also been added to the reported lineup, with all of those ladies -- including Jordan -- being spotted at the launch event for Moore’s haircare line.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I believe not everyone is going to make it as full-time or part-time cast members but more like cameo appearances, similar to what Mynique Smith and Natalie Macklin did during the show's sixth season. Do you agree with me?
