In a recent interview with Bravo, Cynthia Bailey talks about this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Cynthia Bailey opens up about her emotional conversation with husband Peter Thomas. Check it out below!

Bravotv.com: Did you end up hiring the tutor?
Cynthia Bailey: Yes, I did hire Kemaray to be Noelle's tutor. At first I was a little concerned, because he is a very cute guy, and I didn't want my teenage daughter to be distracted. Like I said in my confessional, if my teachers looked like him, I would have been valedictorian, had perfect attendance, and would have volunteered to go to summer school! Seriously, he is very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. They have been working together for about five months now, and it is going very well. They get along great, and she has all As and a couple of Bs. When Noelle is out of town with her dad, they do their sessions on Skype. I just recently found out that they also share the same birthday. I think that was the only question we forgot to ask him at the interview!

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised Leon wanted you to fight for your marriage?
CB: Leon and I have known each other for almost 20 years. Not only is he the father of my child, he is also a friend. I was not surprised that he advised me to fight for my marriage. He knows better than anyone that I have walked away from most of my past relationships, however, a marriage is different. I thought it was respectful and admirable of him to encourage me to try to work my marriage out before giving up. I appreciate his love and support.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Kenya's event?
CB: Kenya wanted her haircare event to be the hottest ticket in town, and it was. Literally! LOL! The event may not have been as Gone with the Wind Fabulous as she had planned, however, she still shined like the star she is and made the most of it. Kenya has incredible hair, and it is all hers. In a world of weaves, wigs, and clip-ons, she is the perfect brand to create a hair care product line. I know that she has been working on this business venture for a while, and I was excited to see it come to fruition. Trust me, starting a new business is never easy, and I wish her much success.

Bravotv.com: Was it difficult having that conversation with Peter?
CB: It was absolutely difficult to have a serious conservation with my husband regarding the fate of our marriage. Everyone has a breaking point, and at that time, I felt like I had reached mine. I wanted to keep an open mind and listen to Peter, however it was important to me to be heard and have my words be received. When I asked Peter if he is the kind of person who stays in a relationship even if it is no longer working, I needed to hear his truth. I know I am not that person. I don't want to be a part of anything that is unhealthy and no longer serves my life purpose. I truly believe the only reason for being in a relationship/marriage is to be a better and happier person than you are alone. I know that all relationships go through their ups and downs, but there should be more good times than bad times. More light than darkness. After our conversation, my heart told me not to give up, and to try to work it out. I appreciate everyone’s well wishes and kind words. Please continue to keep us in prayer.
