Lisa Rinna is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Lisa Rinna gives us an update on her family and explains her thoughts on the Kim/Kyle situation. Lisa writes:
"And we’re back! Quite a bit has happened since we last saw each other, hasn’t it?!
For starters, this summer HH and I took the girls to Paris for their birthdays. I originally had a trip planned for London to do QVC UK for my Lisa Rinna Collection, and then we headed to gorgeous Paris, which was such a dream come true for everyone. We met up with my friend Barry Peele and he took us all over town. We saw Versailles and got to tour some truly amazing iconic fashion brands like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Louboutin. This was like bucket list times a thousand for me, and you can read more about our European vacation on my blog at LisaRinna.com.
So fun that you got to see some of the behind-the-scenes from my Oprah’s Where Are They Now episode. I love Oprah, and it was a true honor. But the question still really is: Where AM I now? HA! Who knows. Do I ever really know where I am anyway? Regardless, I loved getting the chance to walk down memory lane. My career has been so full and so amazing and for that I am truly grateful and blessed.
Shopping with my girls is always a blast. Hard to believe they’re 17 and 14 now, because I swear it was just yesterday that they were 7 and 4. It’s mind blowing to me how quickly time flies. I am so thankful and proud to be their mom and to be able to spend as much time with them as I do.
How cool for LVP to get to throw the first pitch out at the Dodgers game in support of the LGBT community? She really does do so much for that incredible community of people that I also love and admire so much. Who knew LVP could throw such a fierce curveball? *wink*
My birthday dinner was fun and a big thank you for all of my fabulous gifts--I’m such a lucky girl! I was so glad HH could make it. And OMG I am so embarrassed that he was number 16 in my favorites list on my phone. Everyone should be really happy to know that I have figured out, thanks to my 14-year-old Amelia, how to move him up to the top. So now Harry Hamlin is listed as number one on my list, as he should be. It only took Vanderpump calling my ass out to really take a moment to figure it out, get frustrated when I couldn’t, and then ask Amelia to help me. Thank God for the teens showing me how to do this stuff on my phone. I’d be in so much trouble without them, so there’s that.
Eileen and Vince were very much missed at the dinner, though. My heart really went out to their whole family with Vince losing his beloved father, Dick Van Patten. I could really empathize with their grief as I currently watch my own father struggle with his health at age 93. Much love to the Van Patten family.
So good to see Yolanda come out for my birthday. I know she wasn’t feeling well, so the fact that she made the effort to come and see me really did mean a lot. I was grateful for the amount of time she was able to spend with all of us that evening.
Watching the conversation between Kyle and Mauricio was interesting for me. I have so much compassion for Kyle being in the situation she’s in with her sister. It’s gotta be a tough place for her, but I feel as if Mauricio is right. There’s a time and a place for tough love, and this just might be it.
So there it is. We have officially boarded the crazy train. AGAIN. Hang on tight!
XO,
Rinna"
