Former Dublin Wives star Jo Jordan has revealed she suffered a heart attack last month – brought on by stress and heartbreak. Jordan opened up about her health scare and thanked her family and friends for their support.
The former TV3 reality star wrote on her Facebook page on Saturday: “Three weeks ago I had a heart attack. It was the scariest journey I have ever felt. I’m only 42. Try not to stress and live your life to the full.”
She added: “I had an awful fright but I can’t thank my friends and family enough. This is all through stress and heartbreak,” she continued.
“I am trying so hard. Family is my life. Moochers back off. xxxx mind your health xx my deepest love to the Mater Hos xxx”
Friends of the Dublin socialite expressed their concern online, posting dozens of supportive messages.
One pal wrote: “I hope you get back to full health very soon. Horrible experience”.
Others empathized with her with one person writing: “Good to hear you’re doing ok now hun ...I know what you’re going through Jo I had one myself, scary stuff.”
Another continued: “I’m sorry to hear that Jo, I hope you’re feeling better, look after yourself and live your life to the full pet.”
