Lisa Rinna is taking a break from her Bravo Blog this week's, instead The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opens up about the loss of her father Frank and honors him with a beautiful tribute. Lisa writes:

"This week I will not be writing a blog. Instead, I will honor my father.

My father passed away last week, and I want to take this moment to honor him. He was surrounded by love as he drifted away, and I will be forever grateful that I was able to be with him as we said goodbye. I got to say all the things one doesn't always get the chance to say before a loved one passes. I am very grateful for that.

I know you all got a glimpse of my father and his incredible talent as an artist. His paintings will live on forever and will continue to bring such joy to all that see them. He was an amazingly talented, kind, beautiful man that gave me the gift of strength, not giving up, following your passion, and being your authentic self.

My dad was suffering, and now he is at peace. He lived a long, beautiful life. He was almost 94, and we are so lucky to have had him in our lives for as long as we did.

This has been hard on our girls Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray. It is their first loss of a grandparent as Harry's parents had both passed before I met him. The girls had a truly wonderful relationship with their Nampa. It's hard to see your kids sad but knowing the connection they both shared with him is heartwarming in this time of loss and sadness.

He would not want us to be sad, though. He would want us to raise a glass, dance a jig and celebrate him.

My dad loved Frank Sinatra and everything Frank Sinatra. We played all of his favorite Frank songs as he was dying. "My Way" is the Frank Sinatra song that has always reminded me the most of my dad. We played it while he passed, and it was a beautiful moment.

I recently found this quote about death written in 1914. It is profound and comforting in our time of grief, and I take comfort in knowing that my dad will always be with us.

So I leave you with this…
Tell your loved ones how much you love them. Hug them, kiss them, hold on tight.

All of my love,

Lisa"
