Jacqueline Laurita's Daughter Ashlee Holmes Is Officially Engaged!

Jacqueline Laurita's daughter Ashlee Holmes recently announced her engagement to her boyfriend Peter Malleo last week. "I said 'yes,'"The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter revealed on her Instagram page. "Thank you for such an amazing day @c3peteo...I'm so excited for this next chapter of our lives."



"Chris and I are thrilled to announce the engagement of our daughter Ashlee Holmes to her longtime best friend and boyfriend Peter Malleo!" Jacqueline told The Daily Dish Friday. "We are so excited to have Pete as a son-in-law and become part of our family. We love him! We are all very happy and excited for the future!"

Jacqueline also couldn't contain her excitement for her 25-year-old daughter's big news on Twitter. "Say congratulations to my daughter @ashleeholmes & her fiancé @c3pete0 We are thrilled to announce their engagement!" she tweeted Thursday.


The positive vibes continued into Friday morning. "I woke up so happy today knowing my beautiful, grown up, 25 year old daughter @ashleenicholexx will be in good hands with this thoughtful, considerate, handsome, kind gentleman @c3peteo! #engaged #beautiful #RHONJ #IMustBeOld #Smotherinlaw #me," Jacqueline wrote on Instagram.



Mark Shami, a friend of Ashlee and Peter and the founder and CEO of The M Jewelers, also shared this jaw-dropping close-up pic of the engagement ring on Instagram. "Congratulations to my dear friends @ashleenicholexx & @c3peteo," he wrote in the caption to the photo. "I had the pleasure to create this gorgeous 3.01 cushion cut engagement ring set into a dainty 3/4 diamond band."



Most importantly, Ashlee seems to be happy with the rock (and who wouldn't be?). "It's so perfect," she commented on the photo. "Thank you so so much Mark."
