It's been three years since The Real Housewives of Vancouver went off the air and it looks like Slice will be bringing back their very own Canadian Housewives back - but in a new city with a new batch of ladies. The network has officially announced that The Real Housewives of Toronto is happening and the new series is set to premiere in 2017.
According to Global News, RHOT is currently under production. No cast members have been revealed yet. Slice says that there will be six housewives featured on the upcoming reality show.
Corus Entertainment made the official announcement on Tuesday saying that "The Real Housewives of Toronto" will be part of its 2016/17 programming lineup. Corus, which recently purchased Shaw Media, will hold its upfront event later this week.
In an official press release via Corus Entertainment states the show will be “an intimate look at the luxurious lives of the city’s wealthiest women, from their extravagant day-to-day escapades in Toronto to grandiose getaways to their exclusive colossal cottages in Muskoka – Canada’s playground for the rich and famous.”
