So who's joining the show? Meet more details about the potential hopefuls below!
Even though casting was been underway for the upcoming series over the past couple of months. The Daily Telegraph reports that several local socialites were spotted celebrating in Bondi last month - including boutique owner Tali Jatali, who had previously not been linked to the project.
Among those competing for a place in the Arena reality show includes make-up artist Gordana Willesee and ex-model Amanda Cameron. The three Sydney identities were photographed in good spirits at celebrity hotspot North Bondi Fish at the time, following meetings with producers.
It is believed that a number of previously speculated cast members have already been told they have not made the final round of auditions. However, it is not yet clear which women are no longer in the running - as several are rumored to have been considered in the last few months.
Back in May, Tali told Confidential that the casting process has been thorough and ongoing - and hinted she might take on a 'villain' role.
'I've caught up with producers about nine times,' she confessed. 'We've been to several lunches and had a lot of meetings. I'm very excited. I'll be the best bitch on TV.'
Tali is a former fashion model known as Bondi's 'Queen of Swim' after establishing her well-known boutique in the beachside suburb in 2001.
TV make-up artist Gordana Willesee confirmed she was in talks with Real Housewives of Sydney producers about a potential role and is believed to be a favorite. She's perhaps best known as the heavily tattooed ex-wife of TV journalist Mike Willesee and former fiancée of celebrity chef Jason Roberts.
“I’m considering it,” Willesee confessed earlier this year. “If the opportunity has come to me, it has come to me for a reason and I think it could be a fantastic random opportunity to help me live an even straighter life because I’ll be on show.”
Meanwhile, Amanda Cameron is a model-turned-entrepreneur from Sydney's wealthy Double Bay suburb, and mother to Hunter, Aston and Nixon. Amanda and Tali are real life friends as the two ladies are seen in each others' social media pages aka Instagram (see below).
Other names believed to be vying for a spot include Skye Leckie, model-turned-business woman Michelle Walsh, beauty mogul Marilyn Koch, cosmetic beauty therapist and a judge for the Miss Universe Australia pageant Matty Samaei.
Earlier this year Foxtel confirmed The Real Housewives of Sydney will air next year - adding that 'casting was underway' for the upcoming reality show.
