Joe Giudice is currently serving his 41-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. But The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband isn't the only Bravo reality star there: He's serving out his sentence at the same facility as The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom Phaedra Parks' estranged husband, Apollo Nida.
And according to Joe's wife, Teresa Giudice, the two husbands have met in prison already.
"Yes, they've met and Joe said he was really nice," said Teresa Giudice on the Sirius XM radio show Reality Checked with Amy Phillips this week. "'Cause my husband didn't know who he was cause he doesn't watch the show, so when he got there he met him and he was really nice."
And while the two Bravo dads may have crossed paths, the RHONJ mama couldn't confirm if they've sparked any kind of friendship beyond that. "They met up, so it was nice," she said. "I don't know if they're in the same area, but they definitely met. So Joe said he was a really cool guy."
Back in March, The Daily Dish spoke to Phaedra, who offered Teresa some advice on how she should handle being separated from Joe during his jail sentence. "My advice is always just to [be] prayerful and to just know that you're not alone," she said. "My husband nor her husband are the first husbands to go to prison, they won't be the last. And you know the most important thing are her children, those beautiful daughters that they have together. And this too shall pass."
