According to a new report, Keshia Knight Pulliam's husband, Ed Hartwell, has filed for divorce after nearly seven months of marriage. The news comes one week after the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together.
According to Us Weekly, the former NFL player, 38, filed court papers in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday, July 25, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to TheYBF.com, Hartwell questions whether or not he is the father. "Right now, the only thing I want is a paternity test for the baby," he told the site in a statement, via his rep.
The Cosby Show alum, 37, and Hartwell, who was previously married to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu, secretly tied the knot in a New Year's Eve ceremony in January at their Georgia home.
"We did it literally in our living room in our home," Pulliam said on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia, on January 22. "We come from large families. I'm one of four, Ed is one of six. We invited people. They had no clue they were coming to a wedding. They thought they were coming to a New Year's party."
Earlier this month, the actress announced her pregnancy via Instagram. "Surprise!!! We have a new addition coming soon," she captioned a selfie on July 17. She later opened up about becoming a mom-to-be on her podcast.
"She is so spoiled already!" she said of her baby girl. "It’s funny, though — literally she visited me in my dream about over a year ago and I can see her face as clear as I am looking at you right now. It was the most surreal experience of waking up and knowing that was her. I knew I was going to have a little girl first."
