This season of The Real Housewives of New York City is winding down, which means it's time to reflect on the juiciest moments from Season 8. Dorinda Medley and Jules Wainstein dished about their time on the show and Dorinda, who introduced Wainstein to the group this season, shares her thoughts on Jules' rookie season.
"I liked the reunion. Is that weird? I kind of enjoyed it," Jules told Dorinda about the upcoming Season 8 reunion special (see clip below).
It sounds like being a part of RHONY was an altogether enlightening experience for Jules. "I actually learned something really important," Jules said of her biggest takeway from the season. "I'm more than just being a stay-at-home mom. I learned that I am capable, like, I started a business. I'm more than just being a wife. I mean, understatement of the millennium."
Here, Jules is referring to the personal growth she experienced after announcing that she and her husband Michael Wainstein would be divorcing after eight years of marriage in June.
Jules also said that out of all of the RHONY ladies, she was most taken aback by Bethenny Frankel's personality. She even felt like quitting the show during her confrontation with the Skinnygirl mogul at Joanne Trattoria.
"I just had enough. I'm open about my eating disorder but not when people talk about it behind my back in a nasty way. I didn't make it the elephant in the room; they did," Jules said of Bethenny and Carole Radziwill. "When you're whispering behind my back, when you're mocking me, when you're asking me how much I weigh before the pizza arrives, it's gonna make any normal person feel uncomfortable."
Jules said she regrets another food-related moment from this season, when she made a calzone filled with silverware during the ladies' pizza-making party. "Do you know that I left that pizza place thinking like, 'Oh, no big deal?'" she told Dorinda. "I just wanted to have fun. I never thought that scene was gonna make me look like a crazy lunatic. Holy guacamole, I look insane."
