Teresa Giudice is defending the reason why she's calling prison "camp" during her appearance on Sunday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom explains the reason why she refers to the Connecticut facility, which she spent 11 and a half months away from her family
as a "camp," not a "prison."
as a "camp," not a "prison."
"Where I was it was called 'Danbury Prison Camp,' and I don’t like the word 'prison' because really where I was...I wasn’t in a cell," she said. "There were no bars and I wasn’t in caged in. There was no wire fence on the outside. It really looked like a camp. That’s where the facility where I was."
Andy Cohen then pressed her on her how she responds when people say using the term "camp" makes it seem like she doesn't "own the fact that [she] went [to prison]." Well, Teresa had this response for her critics. "Listen, if I was away from my kids for 11 and a half months so nobody should even ask me that," she said.
Next, Teresa Giudice dishes on her blow up with former bestie and cast member, Jacqueline Laurita. Earleir in the season, Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita pledged to move forward in their relationship but when they met up for a meal at Jacqueline's house in Sunday's episode, it seemed like the two couldn't get past the major blow-up they had the last time they got together at the abode, and the evening ended abruptly with Teresa storming out.
So what made the new Teresa" lose her cool? Was it Jacqueline calling up Joe Gorga to set the record straight on a story that wasn't adding up? Or was it rehashing their past feud over what was really going on with Teresa's legal troubles? Or was it Jacqueline calling out Teresa for "filing a fraudulent bankruptcy"?
Teresa explained that last comment of Jacqueline's was the last straw, saying that it "was really bad" during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live Sunday night (see the clip below). "First of all, you invite me to your home, and then you say something like that? I was disappointed," Teresa explained to Andy Cohen.
