Real Housewives of Cheshire couple Tanya and Phil Bardsley welcomed their son on August 12. The baby boy was born at 9.55am, weighing in at 6lb 4oz. The baby's full name is Ralphi Brian John Allan Bardsley.
"He definitely gave us a scare alright. The moment he was born I held him and although he seemed to be breathing, he wasn't responding or making any noise, Tanya told HELLO! Magazine. He was blue. I started crying out, 'What's happening, is he still alive, is he alive?' I was panicking. I kept saying, 'Phil, talk to him. Make him cry.'"
Phil adds: "It was really scary. We didn't know what was happening. You expect babies to cry, but he was just lying there."
Thankfully Tanya explains the doctors managed to act fast.
"He was put into an incubator," she says. "It was probably only 15 minutes but it felt like the longest 15 minutes of my life."
After all of the health-scare drama surrounding Ralphi's birth, it's unsurprising that Tanya is insistent he will be their last baby. She adds: "That's it now – we're done."
The couple are also parents to two sons Rocco, 7, and two-year-old Renz. Tanya's 14-year-old teen daughter Gabriella is from a previous relationship.
