Bethenny Frankel is opening up about the dramatic Season 8 finale episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. The Skinnygirl mogul reveals she has no regrets this season and teases what fans can expect about the upcoming Season 8 reunion special.
"The reunion was absolutely terrible for me. I had strep throat, I had a 102 fever. I walked in not feeling well. It's not the type of thing you can cancel. It's a massive production and so many people's time and effort goes into it,"
Bethenny revealed ahead of the big season eight finale while celebrating the launch of her Skinnygirl Watermelon Lime Margarita.
"It's the day that a lot of the laundry gets washed. Unfortunately, this load of laundry that we had to wash was so gigantic, I would say we got to probably about a quarter of it."
"I definitely went in, to say the least. I don't really ever hold back and I don't ever manufacture anything," she added. "And I live my life completely honestly on the show, and it's not exactly a level playing field because, as I did say in the press, about 50 percent of the cast does not live their true life on the show."
She added: "I have never been so sort of monotone about it. I really, usually am engaged a little bit, and now, I've been detached. I have. The show's doing so incredibly well, the ratings are unbelievable, and I'm proud of the fact that the show is real, that it's true. It's just been taxing," she admitted. "It's definitely been challenging, so we'll see what happens."
Bethenny also breaks down the drama that went down on RHONY Season 8 finale between her and Luann de Lesseps. Check it out below!
