It's official! After weeks of speculations, Jules Wainstein confirms that she is not returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for Season 9. "Overall, it was a great experience," she tells The Daily Dish. "I learned so much about myself. I learned so much about the ladies.
"They're all successful in different ways. I learned different things from each and every one of them," she said. "The best part of it, especially now, [with] what's going on now, the show really made me feel capable — like I felt like if I didn't have the show and this was going on I'd kind of feel lost. I feel very strong and like I got a little chutzpah. I feel empowered; it's a show about women. Listen, I'm going through the worst time in my life, but on the other hand, life isn't over and even though I'm 35, it could be the beginning."
Due to her ongoing divorce drama from estranged husband, Jules is focusing on her business, Modern Alkeme, as well as her family. "Now with everything going on in my personal life, I want to focus on my family, my children, and make sure they are happy and healthy. My children are young and with everything going on, the last thing I want is my divorce to be public and I have to protect them," she said, adding, "I'm not disappearing. You're gonna see me around [promoting Modern Alkeme]."
The mother of two joined RHONY for Season 8. During her tenure on the show, she was candid about her past struggles with an eating disorder, even in the face of criticism from some of the other women. Back in June, she announced her divorce from her husband of eight years, Michael Wainstein. "We respect Jules' privacy in dealing with this personal matter and know she’ll get through this difficult time with the support of her friends and loved ones," a rep from Bravo said.
We will miss Jules on RHONY and I think it's commendable that she is putting her children first due to her ongoing divorce drama, which makes sense. #TeamJules
