Missé Beqiri got emotional when she opened up about her marriage issues to former Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard. Beqiri broke down in tears as she revealed she’s “taken her wedding ring off” on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
“It’s really really heartbreaking. I feel like we’re growing apart, we’re becoming two different persons,” Missé told her co-star Dawn Ward about the painful breakdown of her relationship with Anders after five years together.
She continued: “I feel tired of trying to fix something that’s not working. I feel like I’m crying all the time and I can’t anymore. It’s so hard because I feel like I’m failing. Why can’t I make this work?”
She added: “He actually is a nice guy, but we’re two different people, we’ve grown apart. It’s difficult but sometimes you have to face it rather than living a lie.”
The couple publicly announced their split in a joint statement back in August.
They said at the time: “Because of irreconcilable differences we have taken the difficult decision to live separate lives. The care for our son remains the main priority to both of us."
Anders married half Swedish and half Albanian Missé in a stunning beach ceremony in Mauritius in 2014 after a whirlwind romance and they have a three-year-old son Julian.
On Monday night’s episode of RHOCheshire, Missé was seen in talks with her modeling agency saying she was keen to get more modelling work as she approaches her 30th birthday.
“If I know I can provide for me and Julian that’s a big weight off my shoulders,” she said.
