The Jules and Michael divorce drama continues! According to a new report, Former Real Housewives of New York City star Jules Wainstein has asked a judge to find her estranged husband Michael in contempt of court for not making $10,000 per month support payments.
According to The Daily Mail, the mother-of-two filed court documents after estranged spouse Michael failed to make a court-ordered payment last month, according to an article on Friday by TMZ.
A source also claimed that Michael has not paid their children's tuition or the utility bills.
Jules and Michael have five-year-old Jagger and three-year-old Rio together.
Last month, a judge in New York ordered Michael to pay $10,000 per month as temporary spousal and child support during their divorce proceedings.
The pair continue to live under the same roof. Michael live in the first floor (with second-floor office access) of the once-in-love duo’s downtown triplex, while Jules and their children occupy the top two stories.
"Both parties will remain in their respective spaces and with no infringement,” the judge said. “Both of you need to keep a respectful distance, especially for the children's sake. It would not serve them well if there is visible tension between you.”
As previously reported, Jules and Michael decided to call it quits on their eight-year marriage after she learned of her husband’s alleged indiscretions with another woman.
Last month Jules confirmed that she will not return to the Real Housewives of New York City for Season 9. "Overall, it was a great experience," she tells The Daily Dish. "I learned so much about myself. I learned so much about the ladies.
"They're all successful in different ways. I learned different things from each and every one of them," she said. "The best part of it, especially now, [with] what's going on now, the show really made me feel capable — like I felt like if I didn't have the show and this was going on I'd kind of feel lost. I feel very strong and like I got a little chutzpah. I feel empowered; it's a show about women. Listen, I'm going through the worst time in my life, but on the other hand, life isn't over and even though I'm 35, it could be the beginning."
Due to her ongoing divorce drama from estranged husband, Jules is focusing on her business, Modern Alkeme, as well as her family. "Now with everything going on in my personal life, I want to focus on my family, my children, and make sure they are happy and healthy. My children are young and with everything going on, the last thing I want is my divorce to be public and I have to protect them," she said, adding, "I'm not disappearing. You're gonna see me around [promoting Modern Alkeme]."
