On Monday's Season 11 finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County. During Monday night's episode, it was confirmed that Vicki Gunvalson's daughter Briana Culberson has been diagnosed with Lupus.
As viewers saw earlier this season, the mother of two moved back to Southern California to be closer to her mom after having a leg surgery in Oklahoma. She also underwent several other surgeries over the years including surgery on thyroid and removal of her enlarged lymph nodes. A biopsy back in November 2015 ruled out cancer, and was followed by a trip to the Mayo Clinic for further diagnosis.
Vicki has been vocal throughout Briana's ordeal to get to the bottom of what was causing her daughter to be sick. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in July she cited a misdiagnosis as a reason why it was taking so long to get answers. "Two things: you don't mess with my family, you don't mess with my money. My family is my everything, and I'm gonna find this doctor. He was going to kill my daughter. So, when I do find him, I'll probably pull him up against a wall and tell him what I think of him," she told ET. " I want to go on a witch hunt for him."
During Monday's episode, fans also got to go inside Briana's OC home renovation, which Vicki was assisting her on, whether or not she was looking for the help. "As usual my mom is overly involved in my new house," Briana shared about her mom's help. "I wish my mom would sit back let me just do this all on my own and if I make a mistake, it's on me."
