Earlier this week it was reported that Scheana and Mike Shay have separated and are currently living apart. But according to a new report, Vanderpump Rules producers resumed filming of the Bravo hit reality show to capture the couple's split.
“They picked up production again on Vanderpump Rules,” the insider told Radar Online. “So this will all be playing out this upcoming season.”
“They’ve finally chatted and they’ll be having some very necessary discussions over time to figure out what their path may be forward,” the source added.
Scheana and Mike have not discussed divorce yet, but “there are lots of question marks about their relationship” as “it would take a lot for them to reconcile.”
“There’s no plan for them to be living together again indefinitely,” the source explained. “But that could change. A lot is up in the air right now.”
Mike’s struggle with sobriety has been featured on the Bravo reality series in past seasons. Months after tying the knot in July 2014, Scheana revealed that her husband’s drinking had increased and he’d started to mix prescription drugs with alcohol – sometimes taking as many as five pills a day.
Last week it was rumored that Mike Shay had left his wife after a drug-fueled rampage, but sources revealed to Radar Online that “he’s doing great” and was choosing to “focus on his family and his music.”
“We’re not commenting on her personal life at this time, but it will play out on the upcoming season,” a rep for Scheana insisted to the gossip site.
