Jill Zarin Confirms Husband Bobby Zarin's Cancer Has Returned!

Jill Zarin has confirmed that her husband Bobby Zarin is once again battling cancer. The former Real Housewives of New York City star opened up about his long battle with the disease. She shared that after he was initially diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009, he was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, , but Jill affirms that her husband a strong team behind him.

“Together they will perform gamma knife radiation to eradicate the brain tumors caused by the thyroid cancer spreading north of his shoulders,” she told People at the 2016 Angel Ball, a charity event that raises funds for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. She added, “I can’t even say the word.”

Following his 2009 diagnosis, the RHONY husband had his thyroid removed and underwent a radioactive iodine treatment. His cancer returned again in 2015, this time to his lungs. As he faces the disease again, Jill said that it's a “very scary time,” but thanks everyone for their support.

“We are so grateful to have so many loving friends and family reach out to us during this very scary time in our lives. You have to live to live,” she shares. “There are new drugs being approved, and we all have to survive long enough to get them.”
