"I want to start by saying how excited I am to be a part of the show and I hope all the loyal viewers get everything they could wish for in this season.
I had a lovely start to being on the show, my good friend Lisa V invited me to lunch with her and Kyle Richards. I'd heard a lot about Kyle over the years from Lisa and knew they'd been good friends themselves, so I was really looking forward to meeting her.
Both Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd are very good friends of my husband and I, and we try to get together socially at least once a week for dinner. We enjoyed meeting Kyle and Mauricio. They are such a lovely couple and clearly very in love with one another. We all really hit it off from the beginning. Kyle and I bonded over kids, fashion, traveling and the love of our husbands. She's super funny and warm and I knew from the second I met her that we'd have a lot of fun together.
I met the other ladies for the first time at Erika Girardi's birthday party. I was super excited when I heard it was Studio 54 themed as I love a good opportunity to dress up!
I knew that Lisa V had an unfortunate experience with some of the other ladies on the show last year, mainly Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, so I will admit that I was a little apprehensive about meeting them for the first time with Lisa. But nonetheless I wanted to make my own conclusions and start off our relationship without any judgment of what went down the previous year.
The first meeting with Lisa Rinna was a bit awkward as there was clearly some tension in the air still, but I wanted Lisa R to know that Lisa V had not enlisted me to fight her battles. Lisa V is undeniably a 'lady' with class and poise and knows how to keep herself composed and handle her issues, which is something I admire and respect.
I really enjoyed meeting Eileen, she was kind and engaging and had a real warmth to her. She has eyes that sparkle and you can tell that she's an intelligent, strong and independent woman.
Erika had a beautifully decorated party, I really liked the big disco ball in the middle of the dance floor. It was the first time I had heard Erika's music, but I thought it was catchy and we all danced a lot. On the way home with Kyle, Mauricio, Lisa and Ken, we were starving so stopped at In and Out for burgers which was a fun way to end to the night!
I was pleased to have George aka Boy George in town and a part of the episode. He is a staple in our lives and in our home where he brings a lot of life and laughter. His colorful wardrobe hangs in the closet of our home and funny enough my husband rummages through his clothes more often than you would expect! George is my daughter Phoenix's godfather and a beautiful person and very talented musician. Some of the funniest and most treasured moments that both PK and I have experienced in our lives have been with our Georgie.
So, that's it, week one is done and I hope you enjoyed it! I'm super excited for all of you to see more of the season and get to know me and my family! Next week will be really special, you'll see the gorgeous birthday party that my husband throws for me - I can't wait! Xo"
