The Real Housewives of Orange County recently wrapped its 11th season after a brutal three-part reunion special with major success in the ratings department. However the show's executive producer, Andy Cohen isn't sure if the show will look the same when it comes back for season 12 in 2017.
“Yes, my ears are still kind of burning, ringing,” Cohen jokes to Entertainment Tonight. “I don't know that they all [come back from that]. That's what we're figuring out now.”
Fans are split on what Bravo should do when it comes to Gunvalson. There seems to be an equal outpouring online for her to exit the show and to stay. Cohen says the OG of the OC’s future with the network is “another interesting question.”
But what is a done deal if that his own late night talk show, Watch What Happens Live is getting a major update in 2017.
The New York Times best selling author is moving into a new studio, and getting a name upgrade when it returns on January 3 at 11 p.m. ET. It will be known as Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
“[It’s] very exciting,” Cohen says. “You know, it's like moving from a Tic Tac to a studio apartment, kind of. It's still going to be the clubhouse and really, you know, authentically stupid. But it will be also be a little bigger and we can double the size of our audience, which means 50 people!”
Cohen confesses the change really just came out of necessity of needing more room, and the timing worked out -- a new space opened up in the same building where they currently film the show.
Cohen also promises the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which premiered last week will be “fresh, beautiful and rich.”
