Real Housewives of Dallas star Brandi Redmond has confirmed to The Daily Dish that her brother-in-law, Jeff Donnelly has passed away earlier this month. He was 33. Last week, the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader shared the devastating news via her Instagram page.
"Our close family is grieving the loss of our brother in law Jeff. A loving funny sweet soul that Is always smiling," she captioned a photo of herself and her brother-in-law, who passed away from complications resulting from a congenital heart defect. "He leaves behind my sister in law Lee who recently announced they are expecting over Thanksgiving. She is strong in her faith yet left with heartache and disbelief."
Redmond went on to ask her followers to help support Jeff's family during this difficult time. "Jeff was born with a heart condition which disabled him from life insurance and Lee pursues her passion of teaching young children," she wrote. "With this I ask that we gather together to help Lee with [Jeff's] medical cost, bills, and Baby Donnelly. Love, financial support and prayers are greatly welcomed and we pray that God Bless you ten fold."
Brandi included a link to a YouCaring page in the post, which was set up to help Jeff's family raise funds for funeral and medical expenses. She also sent out a tweet expressing her gratitude toward her fans for their kindness last Tuesday. "Thank u all for your out pouring of love & support," Brandi wrote. "Keep my sister in law & expecting first baby in ur [prayers]. [You] all are the best."
