Luann de Lesseps lost her Countess title when she tied the knot with Thomas D'Agostino Jr. as she has no regrets. The happy Real Housewives of New York City bride reflects on her wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, Luann says that marrying Tom “was one of the best days of my life” with moments from her New Year's Eve nuptials captured by People.
The wedding video features many of the thrills of the big day, from the moment Luann and Tom said "I do" to the gorgeous reception where it seemed like just about every wedding guest danced the night away. "Tonight was so unbelievably beautiful," guest and RHONY alum Kelly Killoren Bensimon said in the video. "Luann, I swear to God, it was the most beautiful wedding in the world. And Tom could not be a nicer person. So I'm so, so happy for them."
People also has many more details in their coverage of Luann's wedding, which is featured in the current issue of the magazine. Luann's brother Michael walked her down the aisle in front of 250 wedding guests at the Brazilian Court in Palm Beach, Florida, the publication reports. Dorinda Medley served as Luann's bridesmaid, and she was also joined by fellow Housewives Kelly, Jill Zarin, Cynthia Bailey, and Marysol Patton in witnessing the couple tie the knot.
In addition to landing big roles in the wedding of flower girl and ring bearer, respectively, Luann's daughter Victoria and son Noel received some very special gifts from Tom. He gave Victoria a Tiffany key "to show that she has the key to their hearts and that they would always be there for her" and Noel a compass "signaling that he could always find his way back to them as they would always be there for him," according to the publication. Luann and Tom also gave each of their mothers a rose to symbolize love.
After Tom and Luann officially became Mr. and Mrs. D'Agostino, their first dance was to Katie Melua's "Just Like Heaven." Not only did the guests ring in 2017 that night with tequila shots and a live mariachi band, but they also celebrated Tom's 50th birthday, which included Luann singing "Happy Birthday" to her hubby. A Marilyn Monroe lookalike even popped out of a large cake on the dance floor because of her "iconic" rendition of the birthday song, Luann told People.
The rest of the food featured during the event wasn't too shabby either, considering the fact that it was catered by superstar chef Daniel Boulud. Guests dined on lobster, braised short rib, and sorbet.
Luann and Tom kicked off the wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner with 80 of the couple's closest friends and family members on Friday on — what else — a yacht. The guests continued the party at Chesterfield Hotel's Leopard Lounge where Dorinda joined the lounge singer to belt out two tunes, according to the publication. The couple then wound down the weekend by hosting a brunch at The Colony Palm Beach.
