The Real Housewives Of Melbourne star Janet Roach has revealed the tragic story behind the dragon tattoo that she got on her back when she was 54. MailOnline is reporting that this is Janet's first and only tattoo, and she got it to celebrate her younger son Jake, 25, who was seriously injured in a fire at a house party two years ago.
'I got it when I was 54, about a year and a half ago now,' she told the MailOnline on the ASTRA Awards red carpet, where she proudly displayed the tattoo in a black strapless dress.
Jake suffered third degree burns to 70 per cent of his body and only barely survived, with Roach still overseeing his treatment and looking for new therapies with doctors.
The sassy and successful property developer - who also has an older son, Paul, 29 - hinted that there could be more tattoos for her in the future.
'It’s my only tattoo so far, but it’s addictive, isn’t it? 'That’s the problem, trying to decide what else to get. 'Maybe I’d have to get it somewhere a little less obvious to see because on Real Housewives they might blur it out.'
The Real Housewives of Melbourne airs Sunday nights at 8:30pm only on Foxtel’s Arena!
