The Daily Mail is reporting that The Real Housewives of Melbourne star Andrea Moss is not going to release her book on parenting after claiming the show 'completely trashed it'. Andrea told Chrissie and Jane on Melbourne's Mix101.1 she was unhappy with the producers of the show who edited a number of scenes to make her appear as if she has five full-time nannies looking after her children. 'The exact quote that I gave was...that at any one time I can call one of five nannies to help,' she said on air this morning.
'It doesn't mean I have five full-time nannies. I actually have two nannies per week and they do a maximum of eight hours each.' The book, A Working Mother’s Revenge, was a light-hearted way of getting back at those who attack women who work full-time. But Andrea, who runs the Liberty Belle skin clinic, revealed she will not be finishing it after the way she was portrayed during the hit reality show.
'The way the show was edited makes it look like suddenly I have five full time nannies and it's just become this big joke and it really pisses me off,' she said after the hosts asked her why she was writing a book on parenting when she has a 'house full of nannies'.
'In relation to my book, it's been completely trashed by the show so I'm going to not finish it and I've spent so much time on it. 'The focus group I did from the working mums that went for three hours and they edited it down to two minutes, the next thing you know my book trashed, forget it. 'I will always stand up for what I believe in, end of story. The way things were edited it looked like it was a big hoo haa about make-up on towels when that was the way that they did it.'
