Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump was honored on Wednesday morning as she received a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. "This means the world to me. It really does," Lisa said as she looked out at her supporters, addressing her LGBT fans specifically when she said, "I will continue to support you, and stand on your behalf."
Lisa has called Palm Springs her "home away from home" and was celebrated by the likes of Lance Bass and White Party founder Jeffrey Sanker at her ceremony. "There's nothing better than having a straight advocate for our gay causes," Sanker, who made Lisa Queen of the White Party a couple of years ago, said. Meanwhile KNBC anchor Robert Kovacik gushed, "With Lisa Vanderpump, if you give her a rose, she will give you a garden."
The event was made complete by the adoring gazes of Lisa's husband Ken Todd and pooch Giggy. In December, Lisa will continue her reign by serving as the Celebrity Grand Marshal of the Palm Springs Festival of Lights.
Some of the most recent star recipients include: Lynda Carter, Betty Chapman Francis, Jason Matthews, Patrick Evans, Aftab Dada and Sanker.
