Monique Samuels Denies Having A Drinking Problem After Car Accident; Calls Ashley Darby A ‘Liar’ And Says “I Don’t See Myself Ever Being Close With Her Again!”

Monique Samuels is shutting down accusations that she has a drinking problem after her Real Housewives of Potomac co-star Ashley Darby claimed she had four drinks before crashing her car. If you recall, Samuels revealed on the Bravo hit reality series that she fell asleep at the wheel blocks away from her home and woke up just in time to swerve her car into a ditch to avoid a head-on collision with a tree.

“I do not have a drinking problem, was not drunk that day, and would never get behind the wheel if I was intoxicated,” she told PEOPLE. “If I had been drunk, and I really did have a problem with drinking, I would say, ‘Yeah, I have a problem, I made a mistake,’ ” Samuels says. “But people are wanting me to own something that really isn’t my issue. It takes away from people who are actually fighting for their lives, dealing with alcohol addiction.”

On the day of the accident, Monique recalls getting up at 4 a.m. that morning to tackle the beginning of a packed day. “I was really over-extending myself,” she explains. “I was just moving into my house. I’m on the board of a charity called Adoptions Together. I didn’t have a nanny for my two young kids. I’m managing five rental properties and all of their financials. Plus, starting my business, Not For Lazy Moms. And I had just had a miscarriage weeks earlier. All while filming a reality show. I was exhausted!”

After shooting a scene with Darby in which they went shopping for swimsuits before their first cast trip, the two went out to lunch. There, Samuels says she had “two drinks over the course of a meal.”

“I ordered three drinks, but one was a Moscow Melon, and I took a sip and didn’t like it, so I sent back for a martini,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m a very slow drinker. We were outside, and then went into the bar, and I brought that same drink with me and finished it there.”

Once the meal was done, Samuels and Darby separated — and Samuels spent “another hour or so” shopping while “drinking from a bottle of water.”

“I’m telling you, I didn’t even feel tipsy,” she says. “It wasn’t a matter of, ‘Are you okay, because you’re appearing like you’re drunk.’ If I was, Ashley wouldn’t have let me drive home. She would have called me a car and wouldn’t have left me leave. It was so casual and not even an issue. It was just a normal day.”

About five minutes from her home, Samuels started to feel tired. “It was as if they day just hit me,” she says. “I felt myself start of doze off. I said, ‘Wow — If that happens again, I got to pull over.’ But I rolled down the windows and turned the music up to try to keep myself awake.”

The next thing Samuels knew, she hit something and opened her eyes to see her car heading straight for a tree. “I slammed my breaks, turned the wheel, and said, ‘Whoa, I can’t believe I fell asleep,’ ” Samuels explains.

Her car had racked up $40,000 in damages. Samuels was also diagnosed with whiplash and a mild concussion.

But nothing was more painful than the “lies” that she says Darby spread. “It’s crazy,” Samuels told PEOPLE. “We were close friends. She more than anyone knew the things I was dealing with in my life. And she told me that she never said out her mouth, ‘I had four drinks.’ So to see it on the show the other night for the first time? I was crushed.”

“I was like, ‘Why am I doing this again?’ This is not what I signed up for,” Samuels adds. “Even with everything they’re trying to do for me, to tear a person’s character down? I would never do that to them. It’s just shady. There’s a different between wanting the show to be entertaining and tearing a person apart. That’s just evil. I never try to do anything malicious to Ashley. So for her to make this up? It’s just eye-opening.”

Does Samuels ever see herself being friends with Darby again? “I can accept her apology but I don’t see myself ever being close with her again,” Samuels says. “Why would I? She literally came around looking for things. That’s not a friend.”

RHONY Recap: On An Island [Episode 7]

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this article are those of the author (Good Tea), and they do not reflect in any way those of iRealHousewives.com.

Before I dive into the bitchy antics of this group, I have to address the humanitarian faction of this episode. Say what you want about Bethenny Frankel and her abrasive personality but she is making miracles happen for the hurricane survivors and authentically helping them. You can clearly see Bethenny used the trip to raise awareness for the issue months after we all forgot about it and not to promote herself or help her public image.

This shit is fucking real and you can't fake that ugly crying face that Miss Frankel brought out every time she talked to another Puerto Rican. These people are living in total poverty with nothing and missing relatives so promoting it on a reality show is a good reminder to help the unfortunate victims of this terrible crisis because the US government is doing fuck all right now to fix it.

Now let's get into the snark of it all. Once Bethenny and Dorinda returned from their charitable trip, they went back to their privileged lives in New York. Can we spare a moment to think about what would've happened if Ramona Singer accompanied Bethenny on the trip? Holy fucking shit. The hurricane would seem like a slight breeze compared to the monstrosity of Ramona Singer washing up on the island. She would have made half the people carry her bags, tried to offensively speak Spanish and failed, then given passive-aggressive advice to all the people who have no ceiling or running water. As horrible as it would have been for the island of Puerto Rico, The Singer Stinger in a third world country is always a  priceless cringe-worthy moment for us at home.

Lu's latest storyline is her renewing her marriage to music in the form of a cabaret show after her marriage with Tom didn't work out. To prepare for the event she had a meeting with a fabulous gay guy who is basically the New York equivalent of Erika Jayne's Mikey Minden but with more Broadway showmanship and less filler. Mikey hasn't met an injectable he didn't like. Luann sang a sexual rendition of "Happy Birthday" with her cigar stained pipes and it was better than her old days of singing badly written pop songs, cabaret is for the Countess. I'm not sure if the Countess was drunk during her meeting with her gay or if they've fucked once before, but I definitely felt a Sonja vibe coming from this situation, however, I'm sure Lu has more than enough gentlemen callers that can occupy her time that she doesn't have to rely on Gays to fill her box.

Carole has a new job writing for Cosmopolitan and her first article is about the #MeToo movement. Did anyone else get flashbacks of when Carrie Bradshaw got her job at Vogue and then her boss tried to fuck her? I swear those two women are the same person with their witty jokes, weird fashion sense and boney facial structures. Carole acts like Carrie from the 90s but looks like 2018 SJP when she's had a bad morning.

Speaking of the wannabe Carrie Bradshaw, her face is starting to look like a character from an animated Tim Burton movie, the blonde hair is washing her out and her new "edgy" fashion sense looks like an angry lesbian set her clothes on fire. What the fuck is going on with her? I understand it took her six years to find her voice but I'm not liking what I'm hearing. Carole used to be the smart, witty, quiet cast member with a good understanding of the group and cheeky sense of humour but now she's nothing more than an older, more negative caricature of her former self. I don't know if her beef with Bethenny is the reason for her new sense of self or if it's part of the reason for their new feud. What came first, the chicken or the egg?

After a few episodes of the former BFFs throwing passive aggressive shade at one another and hinting at some kind of rift, their tensions were brought out in an indirect way after Bethenny decided to stand up for Sonja against the Eyelash Twins who suddenly became the cool mean girls of the show. Who died and made Mugshot Mortimer and Carole Radziville the new queens? Those two eyelash obsessed snoozefests are definitely at the bottom of the RHONY totem poll. The truth of the matter is that Tinsley Mortimer had no career, no friends and no dignity when she returned to New York last year and Sonja was her "in" to get on the show, without her dumb introduction as Lady Morgan's houseguest she wouldn't be a Real Housewife or the future Mrs Coupon Cabin. Even if she hates Sonja, she at least has to give credit where credit is due and respect her for giving her a fucking apple to chew on. And I'm not even 100% sure why she hates her, because she said her boyfriend funds her lifestyle? Either it's her chubby boyfriend or her family who's paying $10,000 a month for her rent because the Bravo checks definitely don't reach that far, so it's not like Sonja is lying.

However, the real problem isn't between Sonja and Tinsley, it's between Bethenny and Carole. Whenever B would try and make a point for Sonja, Mugshot would screech and the Carrie Bradshaw wannabe would mutter an excuse under her breath to defend her new friend to her old one. Naturally, Bethenny clapped back harshly at Carole for butting into the conversation but you could see the anger in her eyes was about more than Carole's annoying habits of talking when she's not wanted and using B's old catchphrases against her. Side note: Who gave Carole the copyrights to use "Get Off My Jock"? There are lots of old resentments coming out in indirect channels. Bethenny accused her of not having her own voice and only backing up who she's sitting next to whether it's Heather, herself, or now Tinsley (facts), but obviously it didn't bother her when she was standing up for her over the last three seasons.

Surely enough Bethenny confided in Dorinda the real reason behind their disconnect is that she asked Carole's barely legal boo, Adam, to cook for the hurricane survivors in Houston but he refused after he found out he wouldn't be paid. That's low. These people have nothing and now this vegan chef is trying to make some money off supplying them with relief? That makes me more uncomfortable than picturing him plough Carole and that speaks volumes. Bethenny didn't stop there and also claimed their lack of shared interests also contributed to her divide with Carole due to Miss Radziwill having no husband, children or career. Even though B spent time in Puerto Rico I'm pretty sure she developed a vitamin D deficiency from all the shade she threw the skeleton's way.

Now that The Real Housewives of Dallas has wrapped up filming, new details have been revealed about the show's upcoming third season which includes the return of Brandi Redmond, Cary Deuber, D'Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott, LeeAnne Locken and Stephanie Hollman.

It looks like Bravo may be adding some new blood in the mix as Jennifer Gaydos-Hartman was seen spotted filming with the ladies at various event thought out the season. It's unknown what capacity her position on the show will be but she's likely to be made a "Friend of the Housewives" (think former former Marie Reyes) or a recurring guest character ala Marlo Hampton for RHOA.

D'Andra and Jennifer (Credit: Twitter)

According to Good Tea, D'Andra may be in for a rough season because her alleged storyline will revolve around her rumored financial troubles, which has been constantly talked about amongst the cast.

Apparently, the main drama this season will be between Brandi and the rest of the cast. The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader has allegedly alienated from the group as LeeAnne Locken has formed real relationships with both Cary Deuber and Stephanie Hollman, even having a spa day with Deuber while they took their cast trip to Copenhagen, Denmark.

Meanwhile, it's also been reported that Kameron Westcott and Cary got into a fight early in the season after they both questioned each other's alleged marriages issues. However, it appears the two have moved on from their drift and are now in a good place. Allegedly everyone minus Stephanie have joined forces to make Brandi a common enemy, reports Good Tea.

So what other tea can we expect in Season 3? D'Andra's wedding anniversary, which is likely to be the premiere, Stephanie's housewarming party, an 80's prom night, LeeAnne's fashion event and more. The ladies also took the traditional two trips this season, their small trip at the beginning was to Beaver Creek, Colorado and their international location was Copenhagen, Denmark which was "hosted by Cary," as we previously reported.  CLICK HERE for details about their Denmark cast trip.

Last week, the sound mixer for the production company took to Instagram to confirm that RHOD has filmed the show's finale epsiode. "Last big #event this season of #rhod. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel! What a crazy #season it’s been with this motley crew. Season 3 is gonna be BANANAS! Hold on to your butts," he wrote on Friday, May 11.

The finale event was hosted by the Hollmans and it was a frat party theme. Redmond was spotted wearing a cheerleader's outfit while Locken and Westcott were both dressed as Cher Horowitz from Clueless, see pics below.

Carole Radziwill Says Adam Kenworthy Is Not The Reason Why She’s Feuding With Bethenny Frankel; Says “It’s All Bethenny” For The Way “She Talks About Me Behind My Back And To My Face!”

$

0
If you recall from watching this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel shares details about why she and Carole Radzwill have this ongoing tension in their relationship.

Frankel shared with Dorinda Medley that she askedRadziwill's on-again, off-again boyfriend Adam Kenworthy to be a part of her charity work when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston last year. When Adam declined to provide photography during the disaster relief effort without being compensated, according to Bethenny, she said "it just rubbed me the wrong way" and that Carole "didn't mind it."

She went on to explain to Dorinda that the combination of Carole seeming to not take as much of an interest in her disaster relief and being "on her own page with Tinsley [Mortimer] and Adam" had put some distance between them.

Bethenny later tweeted during the episode, "I think Adam is a good person. He is entitled to not want to work for free. I was knee deep in it & only interested in people who could help [with] the relief effort."

Carole Radziwill took to Twitter and provided her own explanation of why things had become tense between her and Bethenny this season of RHONY, denying that it had anything to do with Adam. "It has to do with Bethenny and the way she talks about me behind my back and to my face," she tweeted Thursday morning. "It's all Bethenny."

Carole also responded to Bethenny saying in the episode that she always defends the person she's sitting next to and "doesn't have her own voice.""I'm a strong rational person so I don't mind sticking up for friends that are being picked on....did it for everyone but I will also do it for myself if I have to," she tweeted. "I'd rather laugh with my friends though."

Bethenny recently revealed that her feud with Carole has taken a toll on her, who opened up about this difficult season of RHONY. “It’s a little bit difficult. The whole season was a little bit challenging for me, truthfully. Working so much, I’ve filmed [other] television shows and I’m a mom, which is very important to me, obviously — and I just cracked at the end of the season," she told PEOPLE. "I’m not used to that either, so it’s a very different, unsettling season for me.”

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave: “I Left The Reunion Feeling Like I Did Have Work To Do On My Side Of The Relationship With Dorit. But Now, I’m Rethinking That”

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave shares her thoughts on Secret's Revealed episode and explains why Dorit Kemsley's comments about her career were "damaging."

Teddi writes:

"Here’s a secret— I wasn’t going to blog but after watching Secrets Revealed (what a fun episode!), I just have a couple of things left to say.

Yes, Edwin bought a Lamborghini. No, we haven’t decided which child doesn’t get to attend college yet.

I finally learned how to lock my car. Just kidding, still have no idea.

The moment with Dorit, PK and Boy George discussing my business — I can’t. I know Dorit probably thought she was making a joke, but as it goes so often with Dorit, she doesn’t think about what she’s saying. Can you imagine her reaction if it were the other way around? And I know whether they think it is legit or not shouldn’t matter, because I have over 500 women every day who share with me their accomplishments and how it has empowered them to make positive changes in their life. But words can be damaging. I respect what Dorit does because as a fellow female entrepreneur that’s what we (should) do. It’s just a bummer that Dorit doesn’t understand that. Also, aren’t businesses built on taking money from people? Isn’t that how businesses operate and survive? I mean, Dorit isn’t giving her swimsuits away for free, right?

Honestly, I left the reunion feeling like I did have work to do on my side of the relationship with Dorit. But now, I’m rethinking that.

Thanks again for reading these! Hope everybody has a great summer— but remember to be accountable and wear your sunscreen!"

Luann de Lesseps: “I Don’t Know What’s Going On Between Carole And Bethenny, But It’s Not Warm And Fuzzy”

Luann de Lesseps is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Luann talks about her cabaret show and weighs in on the feuds between her RHONY co-stars.

Luann writes:

"Bethenny and Dorinda’s trip to Puerto Rico got me thinking about how darkness can bring clarity. It’s almost impossible to focus on yourself when you are helping others. Problems that seemed so large to Dorinda before the trip became inconsequential when compared to what the people of Puerto Rico have endured. Bethenny brought hope to those in Puerto Rico who felt forgotten, and if this helped Dorinda find clarity, I say #namaste! The work they did together was transformative and inspiring for the entire world to see. These are the moments that make me proud to be a part of this show.

When Tinsley fled Palm Beach, Sonja gave her a roof over her head, a sympathetic ear, and a hand-up socially. That is true friendship. I wish Tinsley had shown more gratitude during her stay…a box of chocolates, flowers, or even just a little note would have gone a long way towards making Sonja feel appreciated. She was there for the long haul and buying a gift at the end was very kind, but it was a day late. Now that Sonja is trying to mend their relationship, I hope that Tinsley realizes good girlfriends are priceless.

I don’t know what’s going on between Carole and Bethenny, but it’s not warm and fuzzy. There’s a fire smoldering with no extinguisher in sight. This should be interesting to watch!

I’m working with the best in the business on my new cabaret show, #CountessAndFriends! Ben Rimalower is an incredible director, and directing my music is #Grammy award winning composer-pianist Billy Stritch who’s worked with Liza Minnelli, Cheeta Rivera, and Linda Lavin, just to name a few! I had the good fortune to meet and perform with Billy on the Broadway stage singing "L-O-V-E" by Natalie Cole during a benefit show for Broadway Cares. He gets me and I love him!

I am currently doing an NYC run of my show, #CountessAndFriends, May 15 – June 29, at Feinstein’s 54 Below wearing Jovani Fashions. While the next two shows are sold out, please add you name to the wait list. If the other shows sell out, I’ll add more!! For tickets, go to CountessLuann.com.

Until next week, don’t forget life is a cabaret, “my friends.”"

Monique Samuels is giving an update on her relationship with her mother-in-law after revealing at the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 reunion that their relationship was strained after witnessing the shady comments she made about her last season.

Monique opened up about the status of Chris' relationship with his mom in this season's premiere of RHOP. "Chris has not talked to his mom since he found out about what she was calling me behind my back," she shared. "But regardless of what name she wants to call me, it's very important for me to see Chris maintain a healthy relationship with his mom because I'm a mom. I can't imagine little Christopher not talking to me."

Now, Monique gave an update on how things are going with her mother-in-law these days during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday. "We're good. We're cordial. We're OK," she said. "We actually had Christmas together. We all went down to Florida and rented a beach house and all of the family was there. My kids got to see everyone, so it was nice."

Tinsley Mortimer To Bethenny Frankel: “If You Are Allowed To Be Sonja’s Mouthpiece And Take Up For Her, Why Is It Wrong For Carole To Support Me?”

Tinsley Mortimer is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Tinsley Mortimer talks about her issues with Sonja Morgan and Bethenny Frankel.

Tinsley writes:

"I was happy to see Dorinda and Bethenny put aside their feelings from their Miami dinner and continue on the positive path of bringing aid and relief to the citizens of Puerto Rico. Clearly, the recipients of this generosity were thrilled to receive the gift cards to purchase groceries and other necessities. Because the money was distributed directly to the people, I feel good about my donation actually making it into the hands of those who need it, instead of paying the administrative costs of a larger operation.

Bethenny, don’t you have enough to do? Why are you championing Sonja when you have no idea of our situation or how we got that way? One week you’re outing her for not donating to your charity, and the next week she’s your new bestie. You have absolutely no idea of the truth of the situation, so stop drinking Sonja’s Kool-Aid. She’s not sad that she is being left out by me. She’s choosing this pitiful role, and you’re falling for it. Another thing: If you are allowed to be Sonja’s mouthpiece and take up for her, why is it wrong for Carole to support me? Seems like Sonja is pulling YOUR strings.

For Sonja and you to suggest that I was destitute with no friends and nowhere to live is ridiculous. At the Megu dinner, you stomped me down over and over. It was going to be your version of the truth and not THE TRUTH. I wasn’t allowed to speak.

And Sonja, as you know, you have NOT tried to be a good friend. I am upset because you lied about me last year. I’m upset this year because you continue to lie about me. How do you expect me to be your friend when you continue to talk shizzz about me? Maybe I connect more with Dorinda and Carole, because they don’t say ugly things behind my back. FRIENDS DON’T TRY TO HURT THEIR FRIENDS, SONJA. Tell the truth. The real reason you got mad was that you wanted me forever dependent on you, and I actually broke away and made some good friends in the group by myself.

And what an absolute fool you make of yourself suggesting that I am a Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Excuse me? Are you talking about me or yourself?

Don’t you dare try to disseminate lies that Scott packed me up and moved me to the hotel HE got for me. You know very well that I had been looking for another place to stay and had found and paid for that hotel BEFORE I ever met him. He simply helped me move in because he happened to be in town and that is what a gentleman does.

Stop playing the role of the fey, ditzy Chrissy from Three’s Company who is really nothing but a delightful zany minx. You’re not. You are calculating, and you know it. This will go on and on unless we just end it. I have said and demonstrated how appreciative I was for your offer to stay at your house. I will not say it again. I hope that the talk we had later at Karen Duffy’s book party puts an end to these never-ending stories you tell about me.

And just CLIP IT, Countess Hypocrisy. I don’t need YOU to school me on situational etiquette of any kind. Bethenny directed an accusation towards me concerning her new BFF Sonja and then refused to allow me to answer or defend myself. This is why I started to raise my voice. I was not being heard. You have a habit of calling people out for the very things you do in abundance.

See you next week!"

Carole Radziwill Fires Back At Bethenny Frankel For Slamming Her Career On RHONY, Says Bethenny Frankel Is Using Dorinda Medley To ‘Further’ Her Own Agenda; Calls Her ‘Obnoxious’ And ‘Self-Righteous’

Carole Radziwill is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on last week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Carole Radziwill reacts to Bethenny Frankel's dig about her career and explains why she thinks Bethenny is using Dorinda Medley to further her own agenda.

Carole writes:

"Spoiler Alert: What would you do if your friend called your boyfriend, secretly behind your back, and asked him to go to Houston with her? Yeah, that happened. Stay tuned next week for As RHONY Turns…but let’s begin with this week.

I haven’t blogged in several years and now I know why…unlike my fellow Housewife, it’s not sport for me to voice opinions that may be hurtful to other people, including her…but this is why these blogs exists and also to correct the lies, insinuations, and false characterizations made on the show. So…ugh.

I loved this episode! It’s important to be reminded not only of the devastation from Hurricane Maria, but of the enduring nature of the human spirit.

I’m glad to see my friend Bethenny step outside her affluent bubble, with her stream of rich boyfriends, rich friends with private planes, million dollar homes, and five-star resort vacations. One gets the impression this is the first time she’s witnessed real poverty. It can be life-changing. I know it was for me, many years ago when I first covered tragedies as a journalist. The shock of having, then losing, one's home and all its possessions (and having the guts and dignity to soldier on) is awe-inspiring. It is partly why I quietly give money to charities and political campaigns I believe will make a difference in the world. And why, years ago, I created my own charitable foundation.
It is a good use of celebrity, and I hope this journey will make Bethenny a wiser and kinder person closer to home too. From the looks of it she’s got a ways to go. But I’m not counting her out yet! We are now in Episode 7, and as I continue to say how proud I am of her, and ask her about Puerto Rico, she continues to be out-of-control aggressive, parrot back anything Sonja tells her, berate Tinsley (a woman who wrote her a $10k check) and insult me behind my back. And that's just over drinks at Megu. Lol.

At lunch Dorinda is being verbally water-boarded, (that's what we all call it). Bethenny does this often, you’ve all seen it:  her uninterruptable talk pattern that leaves her victims helplessly nodding in agreement. Sonja does this too which may be why these two are attached at the hip now.

Dorinda is being used as a pawn to further Bethenny’s agenda and she doesn’t quite know it — yet.  Not only am I a high maintenance, eyelash-wearing, fashion-obsessed, childless friend who doesn’t have a job and isn’t interested in what’s going on in the world, but guess what, Adam is too (minus the lashes)! As a woman, it makes me sad to watch another women, who I thought was my friend, talk behind my back with such cattiness and disrespect. But it makes good television and in the end that is Bethenny’s one true friend. Pass the popcorn.

All I’ll say about the latest bunch of insults, including the bizarre claim that I don’t have a career, is this: I will put my resume up against Bethenny Frankel’s any day of the week. When Bethenny was auditioning for B movies, I was travelling for ABC News to places similar to what you saw in Puerto Rico. After that I worked in publishing and wrote for national magazines, and now yes, I am on Reality TV. The irony isn’t lost on me that while Bethenny is gossiping about me over pizza with Dorinda, I’m working.

The entirety of Bethenny’s career, other than some minor success she had as a caterer, has been in Reality TV. From Apprentice to Housewives and all that it has brought her — including launching her Skinnygirl business — Reality TV has been very good to her. She worked hard, and I’m glad to see she is giving back. I’ve been her biggest cheerleader. I show up at all her launch parties, from booze to sparklers to candy. Last year in Mexico, I wore my Skinnygirl hardhat with enormous pride.

Unlike Bethenny, I don’t need to be biting and self-righteous in order to make myself feel better, smarter, or more successful. I hardly recognize the woman on television shaming women simply for having different opinions and interests. Obnoxious lines like, Call me when you’ve had some success, set all women back. Ramona, whether you like her or not (I do) is a very successful woman. She has had success in business, gracefully navigated a nasty public divorce, and raised a thoughtful and intelligent daughter. That’s my definition of success. What’s yours?

Since when is it ever okay to insult a woman’s accomplishments? Her career? Especially in 2018 when women have finally found the courage to speak their truth? It’s one of the reasons it was important for me to write about self-esteem for Cosmopolitan magazine and its millions of young female readers. (Thank God I have a healthy amount of esteem or I wouldn't have lasted one season with this flash mob.)

Bethenny did get one thing right about Adam: He is richer, in all the ways that count in life, than Bethenny will ever be. Unlike Bethenny, Adam was 23 and dead broke when he created and ran an actual licensed charity. A not-for-profit that helped sustain a small farming community in Nicaragua. He fundraised and took money from his rent budget in order to keep the charity afloat. No five-star hotels, camera crews, or privates planes to jet in and out of disaster zones, but still he managed to do this and so much more. Two years ago, Adam was in Africa making a film for a not-for-profit children’s hospital. For free. This year he got straight off a red-eye from SanFran, ran the marathon in four hours, and raised $3,200 for North Shore Animal League. It’s still not too late to donate

When Harvey hit last summer, Bethenny was partying in Ibiza, I was taking care of a friend whose husband had passed away, and Adam was working hard commuting three hours between clients each day. So, no, Adam couldn't go to Houston at Bethenny’s whim. He is building his business, and he has to hustle — you’d think if anyone would understand that it’s Bethenny. How quickly she forgets the struggle. He suggested switching one client’s day but couldn't afford to lose his day rate — certainly not to take pictures of Bethenny to post on her social media. So off she went to Houston with a professional paid photographer in tow to take pictures of her and the endless selfies she allegedly disdains. Yes, that makes everyone I know chuckle too.

But the most priceless, pass-the-popcorn moment was the bewildered/bitchy look on Bethenny’s face when she said I was having a book party not for myself but for a friend. Rewind…wait for it. Another dig at me? [eye-roll] Yes, Bethenny, I took a short break from writing books while I am on TV.

And yes, I support my friends, much like I did last season when my pal Linda Mason had an art gallery opening, and before that when my friend had a baby on her own. I celebrate my friend’s accomplishments. Because this is the way you support friends — by showing up. This concept, of celebrating others accomplishments, is a foreign one to Bethenny. In the 10 years she’s been on television has anyone seen her promoting a friend, especially one on the show? She barely shows up to support the friends on the show with her. She should consider changing her tagline from it’s more important to bStrong to it’s more important to bNice. Because if mocking, insulting, and shaming her friends is a sign of strength, she can keep it.

Click here to order my friend’s book, Backbone.

And if you think I don’t have one you’re sadly mistaken. So get off my jock and if you’re going to come for me — you better not miss. You did a great thing in Puerto Rico, then you let your ego get the best of you. I’m still rooting for you… Until next week…"

Aviva Drescher Spills The Tea On Her Time On RHONY And Says Carole Radziwill Is “Extremely Contrived” And “Strategic Person”; Claims Carole Is Still On RHONY Because She’s Besties With Andy Cohen!

Aviva Drescher is spilling all the tea about her time on The Real Housewives of New York City, her feud with Carole Radziwill and her thoughts on the current season of the Bravo hit reality series. The Leggy Blonde author recently appeared on The Reality Rundown Podcast, where she was asked about Bethenny Frankel’s claim that Carole “needs a friend by her at all times.”

Before getting to the question, Aviva said, “We were definitely very, very close. I fell head over heels for Carole. Carole…. I think…. does what’s good for Carole.” So maybe “what’s good for Carole” is having a friend by her side at all times.

Then, Aviva explained the breakdown of her relationship with Carole. “I think Step 1 for me and Carole was when I called the girls white trash.” And by “the girls” she means Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan specifically.

Aviva recalled, “I sort of turned from being a fan favorite to a fan non-favorite.” She continued, “When I started to get a little bit hated for going after Sonja and Ramona, for the whole white trash thing, and all that, Carole in real life started to distance herself from me.”

“[Carole] is such a strategic person. It’s unbelievable. Her whole life is like that. It’s incredible. She’s extremely contrived….. but trying so hard to not let people know that she is contrived.”

Drescher then made a pretty bold claim about  why Radziwill is still on the show. “Let me make it clear why Carole is one hundred percent on the show. She is best friends with Andy [Cohen] for many many years. That’s a political game over there. She’s positioned herself and made herself popular on social media. She’s very well set up over there where she really doesn’t have to do anything.” Aviva added, “She has major job security.”

Aviva discussed getting fired from the show. “I was surprised. I think that I had a lot. I think I could have had a lot more fun and done a lot more. ” She even claimed, “I do believe comes down a lot to Carole. I do.”

Then, Aviva brought us back to the story line known as “bookgate.” She revealed, “Bookgate came up because I was talking to Ramona off-camera about how Carole was blowing me off.”

“When I told her that my publisher told me that Carole had a ghostwriter, Ramona was like ‘Oh my gosh. You have to bring it on air. That’s such a great story line.’ Carole was being such a bitch to me anyway, so I figured ‘Why not bring that on?’ I had no idea that was going to hit such a nerve. Honestly.”

“She became vicious. She went after my husband’s business. She honestly looked at it as an assault on her livelihood, which was not my intention. I couldn’t reel her back. I tried to. I tried to apologize to her on camera. I said on air that the book was so good.”

She added, “I think to this day, that is why I’m not on the show.” She explained, “I think she went right to Andy and said ‘If you bring Aviva back, I’m not coming back.’”

Lauri Peterson’s Son Josh Waring’s Dismisses His Attorney And Will Represent Himself In Attempted-Murder Case!

Josh Waring, son of former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lauri Peterson will again represent himself in his attempted-murder case after alleging during a court hearing Tuesday that he can't be sure of the confidentiality of phone calls between him and his former defense attorney.

Waring dismissed his attorney, Joel Garson, during the hearing and asked Orange County Superior Court Judge Jonathan Fish if he could represent himself because he suspects his phone calls from jail, including those to his attorney, are being recorded, reports Los Angeles Times.

The request came about a month after Fish ruled that Orange County Jail personnel may not monitor any legal phone calls between Waring and Garson or read Waring's legal mail. Waring alleged Tuesday that county sheriff's deputies have ignored that order.

"I can't call [Garson] anymore because I have a suspicion they are recording my phone calls."

Fish granted Waring's request Tuesday but warned him that prosecutors who have decades of legal experience would likely overmatch him as the case progresses to trial, reports the publication.

"I'm astounded," Fish said. "You're starting to tread into some deep and difficult waters."

As we previously reported, Garson requested in January that Fish dismiss the charges against Waring on the basis that law enforcement inappropriately monitored and recorded Waring's phone calls in jail while he was representing himself for about a month in 2016 and after he sought help from an attorney.

He said information gleaned from the calls was provided to prosecutors. The calls should have been confidential, Garson said.

Garson has said Waring was being recorded from June 25, 2016, to at least Feb. 8, 2017.

"These actions by the prosecution team constitute outrageous government conduct," Garson wrote in his January motion.

Garson has claimed the recordings were done in violation of a Superior Court order that granted Waring "unmonitored collect phone calls." That provision is standard for defendants' conversations with their attorneys and for those representing themselves.

But Deputy District Attorney John Maxfield has said Waring was required to request unmonitored calls if he wanted them.

"By not requesting access to those calls, he has no one to blame but himself for the recording of these phone conversations," Maxfield wrote. "The Sheriff's Department is not a mind reader."

In the past several months, Garson and prosecutors have questioned various witnesses — including JOsh's parents, Lauri Peterson and her ex-husband, Phillip Waring, Joshua's father — during several hearings to determine whether Joshua's rights were violated.

Fish has not ruled on Garson's motion to dismiss the charges. Waring and prosecutors are expected to appear in court next month to question additional witnesses in the matter, reports Los Angeles Times.

As previously reported, Waring is facing three counts of attempted murder and other felony and misdemeanor charges in connection with a shooting that injured a man at a former sober-living home on Babb Street in Costa Mesa in June 2016. Waring, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, could face multiple life prison sentences if convicted.
