Dr. Simone and Cecil have removed the divorce papers off the table, and are working towards moving back in together and being each other’s better halves. Toya and Eugene have put their tax issues behind them, and their love lives back in check. They will celebrate their ten year wedding anniversary, and this year it’s more important than ever. Dr. Heavenly’s dental practice is booming as she continues her spiritual journey and seeks the expertise of an anger management therapist to help her understand her anger. Heavenly believes she not only needs to talk the talk, but also walk the walk. Since last season Quad has moved…into the guest bedroom, and things are progressively tense between her and Dr. G. Quad is also laser focused on her career as a successful talk show host, and feels like there is a wedge between the friendships she once knew with the ladies. Contessa has finally found the balance she was seeking when it comes to raising her kids, but she is also focused on her health and takes careful measures to prevent breast cancer after a family member gets a critical diagnosis. Mariah Huq is back and living her best life. On the home front, Mariah is navigating being a mother to a teenage daughter and taking special care of her marriage with Aydin, but when an unexpected health scare shakes up the family, the couple gets even closer than ever. Will all of these ladies be able to get their personal lives and friendships on track?
Meet the cast:
Dr. Simone Whitmore was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Spelman College with a degree in biology/pre-medicine where she met her husband of 22 years, Cecil Whitmore. She also earned her doctorate from East Tennessee State University. Simone completed her residency at Boston Medical Center and became a Board Certified OBGYN in 1999. Dr. Simone is a sought-after speaker on women’s health issues and has owned North Perimeter OBGYN since 2004 and is a solo practitioner. Simone is a member of the American College of OBGYN and the American Board of OBGYN. Most recently, Simone and Cecil have partnered in a new application start-up company, KIDZ FORCE. The application will allow kids to earn money while doing chores and become young entrepreneurs. When her packed schedule allows, Simone loves to shop, socialize and travel with Cecil and their two sons, Miles, 19 and Michael, 15.
Dr. Jacqueline Waters is a philanthropist, health expert, women’s advocate and award-winning OBGYN on a mission to impact the lives of millions. This Board-certified OBGYN lives by the philosophy “work hard, play hard.” After graduating from the University of Mississippi and Alcorn State University and earning her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University. As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Dr. Jackie has turned her pain into a passion for nurturing the emotional and physical needs of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer. Her positive and vibrant attitude toward life infused with her dedication to work and family, sets this bombshell in motion at all times. She speaks frequently around the country on women’s health, wellness and self-esteem and resides in Atlanta with her husband Curtis.

Quad Webb-Lunceford burst on the scene and stole our hearts with her quick wit and fun-loving personality. Whether she's busy writing captivating content for the world to see or cooking an Indian-Soul meal, this busy mother of two never neglects to add a sassy twist to all that she does. Her unique touch knows no bounds. Happily married in an interracial marriage to Dr. Aydin Huq, a native of Bangladesh, she experiences all that life has to offer while staying true to her own heritage. The powerhouse couple is very excited for their future business endeavors and plans to expand their "Blackadeshi" family. They enjoy traveling with their thirteen-year-old daughter, Lauren and eleven-year-old son, Ethan, being philanthropists and doing work at the family foundation in Bangladesh.
Contessa Metcalfe was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She grew up being involved in every activity imaginable from debutante to cheerleader to even being crowned as her high school homecoming queen. Dr. Contessa attended Xavier University where she earned her undergraduate degree and for medical school she attended St. Louis University. While in St. Louis, Contessa knew she had a calling beyond medicine along with an inner desire to do more and she decided to join the Navy as a flight surgeon. During her residency at the National Naval Medical Center, she also learned to how to fly planes. Dr. Contessa’s adventurous personality allowed her to travel the world and while on the road she fell in love and decided to settle down with her husband, Scott. Contessa now focuses on occupational and preventive medicine in addition to owning a medical concierge service called Acute Face MD where she provides VIP services for her patients. She also owns a TCBY Frozen Yogurt Café in Atlanta, and is a real estate entrepreneur. When Dr. Metcalfe is not on the clock she enjoys riding motorcycles, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She and her husband, Scott have three kids and she considers them her heart, soul, and by far her greatest accomplishment. Contessa lives by the motto, “Prevention is the key to healthy living.”
