Meghan King Edmonds is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Meghan King Edmonds opens up about her trip to Washington, D.C. and her Fight CRC speech.
Meghan writes:
"This episode was a big one for me, between my egg retrieval and my Fight CRC speech in DC. I have to say, after last week's '70s party, it was refreshing to get away from the drama for a little and focus on some of the major, important things going on in my life.
By the time the day of my egg retrieval came, I was more than ready. I was so tired of my sore, bloated belly and I'm so grateful that my mom was able to be there with me through the whole procedure – even while I was cracking jokes about drugs and being in a quarry with Jimmy!
I couldn't wait to share my Fight CRC speech with everyone and it definitely was not as bad as it seemed on the show. I was extremely proud of myself and the ladies from Fight CRC said that I moved a lot of people, so I feel like it couldn't have gone better. I fight for my friend, LeAnn, who died a year ago of colon cancer, so it meant a lot for me to get her story out there and to know that I've made a difference in at least one other person's life by fighting for the cause. I owe a huge thank you to Anjee Davis and Danielle Burgess from Fight CRC for their support with the cause. It was also great to have Heather by my side to support me – not only was it nice to have her there for the support, but it was nice to have some drama free girl time. Talking to Heather at dinner about my IVF journey and how Jimmy hasn't been as involved as I'd like was really helpful and it's nice that she understands what I'm going through to an extent.
