Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon has launched her very first fragrance. The launch event took place in her home town of Hale Barns at new restaurant Fox as seen on Monday night's episode of the ITVBe reality series.

Lauren reveals she has been throwing her heart, soul, and her own cash into the launch of the perfume - called Lauren Stone Number One.

"When you do these shows, I’ve sold my life, told everyone what I’m doing in my life, put myself in front of the TV, but for what? I was originally writing a book but no one wanted to buy it, the publishers weren’t interested! So I decided I’d launch my own perfume and I’d do it on my own, my way," she told Manchester Evening News. "I’m throwing myself into my business now."

The unisex fragrance is a rich spicy mix of amber, oud and sandalwood notes and will retail for £120 ($146 USD) for 100ml.

"I only wear perfume that you can’t get in this country because I hate people to smell like me - but now everyone is going to smell like me!," says Lauren.

At the launch, Lauren had her waiters' spray-painted with the gold flowers on their back too for dazzling effect. Fans of the show will recognise the distinctive flower on the bottle - as it is the huge flower that Lauren had tattooed on her back in the third series of RHOCheshire - and originally she was going to call it "Tattoud".

Throwing herself into work is keeping Lauren’s mind off her split from estranged husband Paul.

Lauren sighs: "There’s a lot of women who stay and plod on in a relationship, but I’d had enough. I had an epiphany. I wish that I had a crystal ball and say everything is going to be OK."
