We previously reported that socialite Tinsley Mortimer will be the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City. Now, Page Six reports that Mortimer started filming the Bravo hit reality series for the show's upcoming ninth season at numerous locations this week.

Mortimer was spotted filming the show with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan at Housewives favorite spot Beautique on Wednesday till 2 a.m. According to the source, Tinsley was flirting with all the boys,” at the party.

“But she was well-behaved. Ramona and Tinsley had many glasses of champagne, but they decided to sober up by ordering a couple of appetizers to the lounge. The ladies left at 2 a.m.”

Rapper Busta Rhymes was at Beautique’s bar, “knocking back shots of Don Julio 1492 tequila,” said the insider. But when the “Housewives” producers “tried to talk him into appearing on camera, there was a resounding ‘no.’ ”

Also this week, “The Tins” was seen at a surprise birthday party for Singer at the Glasshouses, designed by Lawrence Scott. “All the ‘Housewives’ were there, except Bethenny Frankel,” a source said. “Tinsley was there. She’s definitely the next new ‘Real Housewife.’ ”

The ex-wife of Topper Mortimer and onetime top New York socialite is making a return to town after a tumultuous relocation to Palm Beach, Fla. In April, she was embarrassingly arrested for trespassing outside the home of her on/off boyfriend, Alexander “Nico” Fanjul, while he was inside with another woman. (She said she left her purse there, which he denied).

Mortimer explained in Harper’s Bazaar’s September issue: “I went down to Palm Beach, and I was just walking away from everything . . . I wanted to start over . . . My biggest mistake was that I was running away from something here in New York and I ran into the wrong hands.”

She starred in the short-lived 2010 reality series “High Society,” which was scoffed at by New York blue-bloods. A socially connected insider sniffed on Friday: “The ‘Housewives’ have been trying to get her forever . . . I guess they finally did it.”
