After the massive success of the first season of
The Real Housewives of Melbourne, it's no surprise that
Foxtel renewed the hit reality show for a second season. While it's not known exactly how many of the show's original six stars - Andrea Moss, Gina Liano, Chyka Keebaugh, Janet Roach, Lydia Schiavello and Jackie Gillies — will return,
The Daily Telegraph reports that producers are interviewing a number of ladies around town to become a housewife.
After a hit first series of the Foxtel reality show, which follows the lives of six wealthy Melbourne females, casting is underway to find a new set of women.
A few weeks back, Gina Liano did an interview with The Fix website and revealed she told producers to change the lineup, basically it's either her or Andrea Moss. 'I can't see that the dynamic would change enough for me to feel confident, if I was to go into a second season with Andrea, that she would just not continue the same,' she said. 'To be honest, I don't think she can. I think she is who you see' said Liano.

here!Meanwhile the always positive and fierce Jackie Gillies and her husband Ben Gillies, from Silverchair, officially launched their pre-made cocktail range La Mascara at Morris Jones on Chapel St, South Yarra last week.
She told Confidential that it was great to see all the hard work pay off.
“I feel so blessed, I feel so honoured,” she said.
The development of La Mascara range featured heavily in series one of Housewives, but Gillies said it had been an idea of the couple’s long before the show started.
“We were creating the brand before the show,’’ she said.
“When they said we want this as part of the storyline, we thought, why not?”
It's obvious that Gina Liano will come back due to her massive social media fan base and
our recent poll was the proof of it. I also believe that Jackie Gillies will also return since she was the queen of catchphrases, can we say "shine shine shine." I also feel like Chyka and Lydia will also return, that leaves me to think that Andrea and/or Janet may or may not return, unless Foxtel decides to keep all the original cast and just add an additional housewife and maybe follow Bravo's footsteps and have "friend of the housewives" as part of the cast as well, just like RHOBH. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.
