Nicole Napolitano: "Watching Myself Talking About My Divorce Was Extremely Difficult And Painful"

Nicole Napolitano is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on the season premiere episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Nicole was shocked by what Amber had to say about her guests and talks about divorce, her twin sister and brother in law's relationship. Nicole also weighs in on Dina's divorce and Teresa Giudice's family and more. Nicole writes:

"I would like to say I am excited to be part of this amazing ride. The last few months on social media and tweeting with the #RHONJ fans have already made it all worthwhile for me. I really feel the love, and I hope the fans love this season.

Of course some mixed emotions watching the first episode. I most definitely laugh and smile as soon as I see my family. My brother-in-law Rino is crazy hysterical. He is funny when he is not drinking, but once he has a few under his belt…oh boy, there is nooo stopping him. Let’s say it is not the first time I’ve heard “I’m going to Florida” or my sister saying, “Rino why are you acting like this?”

Listening to Amber’s comment regarding “etiquette-cy” (her word) and the insulting things she had to say about our guests was surprising -- I would never insult anyone who attends a party at my home. So as for Amber, I think it’s time for her to get her “etiquette-cy” book out and turn to Chapter One. My own suggestion would be to count her blessings everyday instead of counting how many pieces of cheese your guests picked up with their hands. Who really cares? When I have a party, it’s all about good friends and good people coming together to have a fun time without passing judgment.

Let’s move on to the more important issues in life like divorce and death. Going through my divorce was the hardest time in my entire life. I felt for Dina as she opened up that part of her life to the world and let people in. It’s not easy to do or go through!

Watching myself talking about my divorce was extremely difficult and painful. Especially when I see my children up on the screen, it is heartbreaking. Opening myself up makes me feel too vulnerable and is an extremely scary feeling, because that was a time in my life I wanted to keep as private as possible.

Watching Gia and seeing Joe’s dad broke my heart. Gia is one strong girl to open up like that and not hide her feelings. It was very sad to hear Joe’s dad speak about always being there for the family after just recently attending his wake. Again, it was very sad to watch all the heartache this family is going through being a mother of two and a daughter myself.

Seeing Victoria during the season preview at the end of the episode is like seeing a big garbage pail in Teresa G’s kitchen. We know only trash can come from her! She’s yesterday’s newspaper and the only thing you do with yesterday’s newspaper is wrap fish in it.

Fun, laughter, sadness, drama, idiocy -- all part of life!  My love again to all my amazing fans out there, and I hope this is your favorite season yet! XOXO"

Teresa Aprea: "We All Should Not Throw Stones When We Live In Glass Houses!"

Teresa Aprea is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on the season premiere episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Teresa Aprea gives you the scoop on her husband's over-the-top personality. Teresa also dishes about her twin, Nicole and shares her thoughts on Amber's remarks about her friends and more. Teresa writes:

"Well cin cin! Here’s to the start of a successful, fun, drama filled Season 6. For me, being one of the new girls, tonight could not have come fast enough, and I am personally "chomping at the bit" to see more.

It was definitely nerve-racking at first, but like anything else in life, when the going gets tough, the tough get going! Nicole and I just jumped right in and the rest was history! It is so much fun and the best experience working with my twin. I love and adore Nicole so much, and I know the world is going to fall in love with her too! I commend her for opening up and becoming vulnerable about a very private part of her life. Her humility and lack of pretense is what makes people relate to and love her.

As for my hubby Rino, I am so excited beyond words for everyone to get to know him. To know Rino is to absolutely love him, but you never want to cross him. He loves hard and plays hard, but if he doesn’t like you, Rino will never deal with you. (He has an acute sense for seeing peoples’ true character.) My husband is a no nonsense kind of guy. I think everyone could see that in just the first episode. As time goes on, I am looking forward to everyone getting to know Rino. He is a ton of fun and loves to joke constantly -- you never know what’s going to come out of this man’s mouth. Rino obviously says whatever is on his mind… Sometimes with no filter! That’s what people love about him.

Regarding the Giudice family… Seeing Gia throughout the show broke my heart. Right, wrong, or indifferent nobody ever wants to see a child endure so much pain. It was heart-wrenching watching that. I related to Gia as a daughter who is extremely close to her dad. On top of that Joe is someone whom I particularly like very much. Another scene that pulled on my heart strings was seeing Joe Giudice's dad. To see him a strong vibrant man and now he is no longer with us. That brought tears to my eyes, because I know the bond Italian families have with their moms and dads. It is indescribable, so my heart went out to Joe watching that. My sincere condolences to Joe and his family once again.

I must comment on Amber’s remark regarding mine and Nicole’s friends’ etiquette at the party. Instead of being insulted, I found it comical. After seeing this episode, it was all of Amber and Jim’s friends who were stomping and cleaning their shoes in her home, and they were the ones shoveling the food into their mouths. LOL!

Another comment from Amber I found amusing was how Melissa married for money. Reality check -- who is Amber to judge when she married a man with a huge home in Colts Neck? Did she forget Bobby (Nicole’s boyfriend) and Jim were best friends for almost 14 years? We all should not throw stones when we live in glass houses.

With all this said, I am super excited to have met this group of strong women. Some stronger, some crazier, some more fun! But it all definitely leads to a recipe for a very spicy Season 6!"

Recap: RHONJ Season 6 - Episode 1: What A Difference A Plea Makes

Welcome back to the Garden State after what seems like an eternity, and an eternity filled with off camera drama. We are welcoming back some familiar faces: Teresa Giudice, the queen of RHONJ, Melissa Gorga and her perverse yet adorable husband Joey, and the return of an original, Dina Manzo, with a whole new attitude. Gone are Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo. I'm afraid it was time for Jacqueline to go because, as important as her cause is, her storyline seemed more like a PSA. Caroline Manzo, on the other hand, I will miss. I adored Caroline's massive eye rolls and penchant for calling out BS, but she had clearly checked out by last season. Since the past two years became a depressing spectacle of a family imploding, Bravo has wisely brought in new blood and a new feel. We will soon meet Amber Marchese and the identital twins, Nicole Napolitano and Teresa (pronounced Ter-ess-uh) Apresa. Before I begin, let me say that this piece was supposed to write itself. After all, this is weave-ripping, table-flipping New Jersey after all. Well, not so much. With the Giudices' issues, the tone has changed, and rightfully so.

We begin at the Gorga household, where Joe and Melissa are watching what is supposed to be Teresa's plea date on the news. At least that's what Bravo wants us to think. In fact, we are seeing old footage of her first court appearance. Melissa says she can't watch and cuts the TV off. Joe clearly has a heavy heart over this and the two state that they must reach out and let her know they are there for Teresa's family no matter what. Melissa calls Teresa to show support and Teresa, still not wanting to face reality, says the news of the day is a lie but is thankful for the support. They hang up and Gia asks what that was about. Tre tries to play it off but Gia, wise beyond her years, explains that she is old enough to know what is going on. The two cry and hug and it is truly touching. Then we rewind to three months earlier, before Teresa has entered a plea.

Teresa's kids, who deserve their own show, are at it again. Tre and Joe are trying to make Milania, the real star of the show, do homework. As Gabriella steps in to help, Milania asks if she can read a book while her sister does her homework. My kind of girl. Suddenly, the camera is outside and we see some killer boots making their way to the door. It's Dina! I did not know how to feel about Dina's return, but I am immediately thrilled by it. Jersey has been missing this housewife. In her talking head, Dina says, "The bitch is back and, if you don't like it, you can kiss my ass." I'm back in love and from observing her for the remainder of the episode, she ain't kidding. Also in her talking head, production asks her how are things with Caroline. Dina's silent answer is an eye roll so epic it likely rattled the windows. One thing is clear; Dina is a true friend to Teresa. She brings her an orchid and a peace charm and asks if Tre is actually taking time to let the situation sink in. Teresa laments the legal fees that are piling up and depleting the girls' college funds. I am going to say it. I love you Teresa, but I don't think that money was from college funds. In the most candid admission I've seen, Tre says it gets her when she tries to sleep, and she no longer sleeps through the night. Dina is there for her, and, as Dina is going through a divorce of her own, Teresa pledges her support. Dina describes Tommy's transgressions, though she stops short of saying cheating. She does say in her talking head, "Turns out I'm pretty zen...until you fu_k with me." I'm loving Dina and this is a team I can immediately get behind.

Next we see Tre and Melissa meeting up with Milania and Antonia at cheer practice. Tre and Melissa have put their issues aside (though some reports indicate this is for the cameras, but I choose to believe it is for real). As Tre says, she has bigger fish to fry. It is heartwarming to see Antonia and Milania grab hands and run off together. These kids love one another and kudos to their moms for fostering that. At cheer practice, Teresa has Milania show Aunt Melissa how she can twerk and the kid is frighteningly good. Antonia is clueless, and Melissa seems relieved. The real reason for this meetup if to segue into the new women. In a moment that screams scripted, Melissa asks Teresa if she remembers Amber, who was in her wedding. Amber and Melissa were old friends who have lost touch but Amber has extended an invitation to her Harvest Party, and Melissa invites Tre and Dina to tag along. We get it, Bravo, you have to tie the women together, but this is not feeling too authentic.

And now we meet Amber. First impressions are not always correct, so I am sincerely hoping mine changes. As of now, not good. First, her husband Jim walks in the door with a dead pig, horrifying both Amber and the children, especially their daughter, Isabella. The image of Jim Marchese toting a fellow swine is the perfect entrance for this man. If you don't get that shade, google him. Amber says she has four kids, though they have a blended family and at this point I am unclear who she is actually stepmother to. Amber admits to being a control freak and a strict parent. In her talking head, she says, "I'm wound way too tightly." Then she sips a class of wine through a straw...a trick used by folks with veneers according to my friend. Amber also tells us she graduated with a Master's Degree from Columbia. Red flag: if you are so smart, you don't need to tell me. It will come across. In the ultimate shade, she says that she and Melissa partied back in the day but they chose different routes to the good life. Amber's was work and Melissa's involved marrying well. Burn.

Now Dina is dropping in at her therapist's office. In one of my favorite Dina moments, she recounts how she went on a Mongolian retreat for 10 days with no running water in order to find herself, though she escaped to a Bed & Breakfast after five days. Fair enough. She feels she is not the spoiled girl she was. She confesses to her therapist she is afraid of opening up and doesn't want to be an old cat lady. Her therapist points out that, as two of Dina's cats are hairless, that is ten times worse. Dina also confesses that she and Tommy are still sleeping together and the therapist says this is no way to move on. I say this is a good way to get a great settlement and quash the rumors that Tommy is gay. Yeah, I said it.

Back at Casa Marchese, the house that whistle blowing built, Amber has the twins over. Teresa A (too avoid confusion) and Nicole seem like happy go lucky, fun ladies and are both beautiful. Teresa A is married to Rino, whome she was married to for seven years, divorced and then remarried. Nicole is divorced with two sons (and two precious pooches we will meet soon) and describes herself as a "hopeful romantic," who believes that women need two things: Dunkin Donuts and oral sex. Same goes for men and I love her already. If this were RHOC, she would be on Vicki's fun bus. She is dating Bobby who, at this point, she has been with for nine months. Bobby and Jim are best friends. Just watching these three in the kitchen, it is clear that the twins are far too carefree for Amber. Nicole has invited roughly six additional couples to Amber's party and I think Amber's head may explode and Amber displays a variation on the stink eye--the stink face. Amber's stink face could give Phaedra Parks's stink eye a run for its money!

It is th enight of the party and all the ladies are separately deciding what to wear. Joey G, in his constant quest to get Tarzan some love, suggests that he and Melissa stay home and get naked but, alas, there is a show to film. At the party, Amber is acting as drill sergeant with the kids, dressing them up to have them answer the door, take coats and escort guests in. Teresa and Dina ride together and Dina is awesome in her support for Teresa. By the time the twins arrive, it is clear Rino has had a bit much to drink and begins telling off color jokes and conversing with the dog, who he feels resembles Dennis Rodman. The best part of the party is watching Amber's face as guests accidentally drop food and track in snow, all of which is blamed on the guests invited by Nicole. Amber suggests that they need to read a book on "etiqquesy" and I want to call Columbia and verify that degree. Cut to Nicole, who says, "As an Italian, a party is a party and the more the merrier." For the record, I'd much rather attend her party.

As Dina and Teresa make their way through the snow in impossible shoes, Dina points out that Party Planning 101 is that entrance is everything and she would have had salt out and a place to wipe your shoes. Or you could take the Amber route and just make awful faces at all your guests because of it. As Dina and Tre make their way in, the entire room is talking about Teresa. She handles it like a pro and I respect her strength and Dina's support. While people are attempting to get to know Dina, she says she's a bit antisocial and busts out with this gem: "I think most of the people in between the children and the old people are a__holes." Dina, please put that on a tee shirt for me. Then in her talking head, she says, "Just because I'm zen doesn't mean I'm gonna put up with a__holes. I mean nobody's that f__king zen." Did I mention I love her.

When Amber finds out that Dina runs a charity for children with cancer, they begin to possibly bond. While I am not feeling Amber, I do wish her health and respect her struggle. Luckily, Amber did not have the same cancer treatment her husband was able to sneak onto approved lists. (Google again if need be.) However, when Amber discusses her change since cancer, she says, "I think I might've been a little shallow before." I literally spit out my drink. Dina also bonds with Nicole over divorce and I hope this relationship takes off but only time will tell. Once Amber has a chance to catch Melissa alone, she asks why Melissa did not acknowledge her cancer. "What cancer?", Melissa asks. Uh-oh. Now we have cancer-gate. Amber swears that Melissa knew because she had a Facebook message from Melissa acknowledging it. However, the message has been deleted. I am no fan of Amber yet, but something tells me Melissa knew. The ladies fake working it out and Melissa immediately runs to the other room to spill the dirt to Tre and Dina. Lastly, As a sauced Rino makes his exit from the party, he shouts, "I could start a party at a funeral." Dina's face says it all.

In the last sequence of the premiere, the Giudices are celebrating Joe's grandmother's 80th birthday with a family portrait, the last being done over a decade ago. The family of 50 has gathered at Tre's house and the portrait is beautiful and I totally get the feels. Joe gives a short speech to the family, saying how when trouble comes, the family rallies. The hardest part is seeing Gia, the oldest and one who comprehends the severity of the situation, breaking down. Afterwards she hugs her father, crying, and tells him how much she loves him. He is crying too. Teresa comes in, as does Frank Giudice, Joe's father, who joins the three in a hug and says he will always be there. Sadly, Frank died recently and the episode was devoted to him. At this point, I am a puddle. Bravo has done the Giudices a big favor here by showing their love of family in a way that can make even the haters sympathize. I admit I was not always Team Teresa, but it breaks my heart to see what they are going through.

Rest In Peace, Frank Giudice 1950-2014

Thanks for reading, guys! Dense one meeting all the new peeps but I think we have a great season ahead. This season, we get the Gorgas investing in waste removal, Dina throwing Jim Marchese out of a function, Victoria Gotti stirring sh_t and so much more. Until next week, I am praying that if I have to see Gotti, I also get to see Tre's purple pimp getup. Unil then! XO

Rumor Alert: Is The Real Housewives Of New York City Getting Two Spin-Off Shows?

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps might have been demoted as a part-time housewife on this season of The Real Housewives of New York, but it looks like LuAnn de Lesseps might be getting her own spin-off show as well as Aviva Drescher's dad, George Teichner. Read full details after the jump!

According to gossip blog Naughty by Nice Rob, 78-years-old, Aviva Drescher’s dad George Teichner and his 25-year-old fiance, Dana Lavette Cody have shot a TV pilot that they are hoping gets picked up.

Shot two weeks ago in Aviva’s upper west side home, the couple spent the afternoon with camera crews putting together a pilot.

Another show that is being developed is with Countess LuAnn de Lesseps. She is no longer under contract with Bravo and has received lots of offers to do her own lifestyle show – think Martha Stewart living! However, if Bravo are smart they will sign her back up right away, she was the star of this ratings troubled season.

Would you watch a RHONY spin-off show about Aviva's dad? Or would you prefer to see a Countess LuAnn spin-off show? Tell us your thoughts!

Shannon Beador: Tamra's Lies Are Mind Boggling

$

0
Shannon Beador is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's explosive episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Shannon can't believe Tamra Judge and Heather Dubrow could keep lying when they have both been caught and explains what made her snap. Shannon writes:

"Lots to talk about. Let's just start...

There is nothing "kooky" about why I went to Heather's house. I asked Tamra whether she relayed any of our confidential conversation to Heather and she denied it. How many times could I ask her? The only other person who could confirm what I already knew was Heather. Terry was not present at Heather's lunch when my marriage was a topic of conversation, so I continue to be perplexed at his "involvement" in an issue that has nothing to do with him. I never said that Heather "told the world." She discussed my marriage with a table of women which was inappropriate and that is what I told Vicki.

Heather knew that I was coming to her house and any suggestion to the contrary is just another way to "spin" things. I apologized to her for raising my voice to her at my Christmas party. I even apologized for yelling, which I actually didn't do. She talks to Vicki about it, and she brings it up at Lizzie's party. Clearly she has not let it go. It is so interesting to hear Heather and Terry describe the incident and they always say, "When Shannon left our house. . ." I was kicked out.

David and I are home from Mexico and are In a good place. We are committed to each other and our family. David is chaperoning Sophie on her class trip to Italy. Both David and I had limited interaction with our fathers, so it is so nice to see his efforts to change the patterns we grew up with. He is an amazing father!

It is nice to see Vicki have compassion for me. What is disturbing is Tamra not taking responsibility for starting all of this nonsense between Heather and I.

En route to Lizzie's party, David and I discuss that I am not at excited about seeing the Dubrows. First of all, the last I heard from Heather was a text minutes after I left her house. There was no way I was going to respond to her text after being kicked out of her home. She never apologized in the text for telling me to leave her home and I wasn't going to set myself up.

It is interesting to hear Heather's commentary on her way to the party saying that I yell at her every time I see her -- "my house, her house, my parties, her parties." The first time you ever see me yell at her is in this episode because I have had enough. I didn't yell at her at Javier's, never ever raised my voice at the hoedown, and apologized for my raised voice at my Christmas party. I don't like to be accused of doing things I didn't do.

David and I have been bothered by something that Tamra has said to both of us on numerous occasions. She has told us that Terry Dubrow said he wanted to "Take the Beadors down." We didn't think she was serious at first, but once she mentioned it a couple times, we started to wonder whether it was true. We weren't going to discuss it with the Dubrows without getting confirmation from Tamra one more time that Terry had said it. She denied ever saying the statement to me that Terry wanted to "take the Beadors down." I was absolutely frustrated. I was just coming off of a devastating betrayal from Tamra, so I couldn't believe that she was going to lie once again. Two things could have happened -- Tamra made it up in the first place (which would make it a lie) or she lied to me and Terry really did make the statement to her. Either way, Tamra is not telling the truth. . .again. Mind boggling to me. I am not making it up and would have no reason to.

And then lo and behold Tamra decides to bring up this non-existent statement at the dinner table of all places. It makes no sense. And further, I cannot believe that Terry had the audacity to confront David and I at the dinner table with 12 people. I love that David defended me -- so chivalrous and loving.

You see Tamra in her commentary adamantly denying than she ever said Terry wanted to "take the Beadors down." Then you see Vicki confirm that Tamra also told her about the "take the Beadors down" comment as well. Tamra has not been honest. You cannot discern when she is telling the truth or not.

You see me apologize AGAIN to Heather for raising my voice to her at my Christmas party. Clearly Heather can't let it go because after the apology at the table, I am attacked for "yelling" once again.

I could not believe that Tamra asked David to go outside. I have known my husband for over 16 years and I have never known him to have a confrontation with another female. I am blown away that Tamra thought she could somehow convince my husband that betraying my confidence and telling Heather was somehow in my best interest. And then she calls Heather and Terry into the discussion. At this point, I am done. This is not how I communicate or deal with people. Once again Heather brings up my "yelling" at her and that is the last straw for me. I am human. I mean it when I say "you will all see the truth." You do see the truth."

Goldie, Uncorked! iRealHousewives Exclusive Interview With Eric Goldie

Our guest blogger Jim K recently had the opportunity to interview Eric Goldie, who’s mostly known for being Carole Raziwill’s assistant and also seen on The Real Housewives of New York City! They dished about his career, upcoming projects, his thoughts on #BookGate, what it is like working for Carole Radziwill and more exclusively to iRealHousewives.com. Read the full interview below!

Interview by Jim K.

Jim:Welcome to iRealHousewives.com, Eric!  For those who do not know much about you, please tell us a little bit about yourself.

Eric:Thank you for the warm welcome! Well…what is there to tell? I grew up in a small city outside of Cleveland, where everyone knew everyone and everyone knew everything about everyone.  It was such a fun small, suburban town. I went to Miami University, often mistaken with University of Miami in Florida. It was really similar except it was in Ohio, there were no beaches, and it was located in the middle cornfields. I always knew I wanted to live in New York so I started interning over the summer for different production companies. I thought I wanted to work in theater production, but soon I realized that television was more up my alley.

Jim:From Broadway to working with a Bravoleb – you’re moving on up.  Maybe you should change your last name to Jefferson.  So, what you are saying is you are Amish and went to New York for your rumspringa and never returned to the farm?  Mazel! I did the same, but replace New York with California and I did come back. #amishproblems

Eric:I guess you can say I “broke Amish.”

Jim:How did you end up working with Princess Carole Radziwill?

Eric:Funny story actually. I met Carole outside of a bar downtown. We started talking for a bit after my friends recognized her from the show and then we decided to take a picture together. Later on I sent her a tweet telling her how nice it was to meet her and she tweeted me back that she was looking for an assistant to help her with her social media. The rest is history!

Jim:What was the craziest question she asked during your interview?

Eric:“Do you know how to use a P-Touch label maker?” It wasn’t weird that she asked me that, but it was weird to see how much she LOVED her P-Touch. She really does use it for everything around her house. Her entire closet, kitchen cabinets, everything is labeled! So organized.

Jim:Describe Carole in 3 words.

Eric:Inspiring, kind, and motivated.

Jim:What is the best thing about working with Carole?

Eric:I think that the best thing about working with Carole is having the opportunity to listen and learn. I feel like I’m the kind of person who never stops talking, but somehow Carole just makes me shut up and listen. I love hearing her stories about when she was a news producer and traveled the world. It’s really something I can look up to. I could come to her with any problem and she somehow figures out a solution. She’s experienced so much throughout her life and always puts my problems into perspective.

Jim:What is the worst thing, aside from being in charge of opening wine bottles?

Eric:Carole bought a Fiddle Fig from Miami last year and it went into shock because of the climate change. So…to make the tree feel more “at home” she keeps her apartment at 80 degrees.

Jim:What is one thing that you can tell us that people will be surprised to know about Carole?

Eric:Carole is an expert at packing a suitcase. I watched her pack for a trip a few weeks ago; apparently, it’s all about plastic.

Jim:Maybe Carole can offer a class #packingbybravo for the other Housewives.  What are your thoughts on Aviva vs. Carole's #BookGate fight?

Eric: I know how hard Carole worked to build a career for herself. When I see how passionate she is about her writing it upsets me to see anyone belittle it.

Jim:Were you surprised that Aviva accused Carole of using a ghostwriter?

Eric:Not really. Seeing Carole’s success and her achievements as a journalist and a writer, it doesn’t come as a surprise that some people would try to discredit her. I was surprised that she attacked her family and ridiculed her age.

Jim:What exactly was the Twitter Scandal that started the #FreeGoldie campaign?

Eric:Ohhhh boy…here we go. Long story short: After I was on the show, people decided to dig 5 years back through thousands of my old tweets. Unfortunately when I was 18, I said some things that were extremely inappropriate. I had no following back then and had no intention to hurt anyone. It’s something that I regret every day because that is not the person that I am, nor the person that I was. My entire timeline is filled with jokes…mainly about myself! These people took screen shots of my tweets and sent them to some tabloids. I was called vile, a bigot, and sent threatening messages. So I stopped tweeting about anything Bravo-related which to my surprise sparked a mini twitter campaign called #FreeGoldie. There were rumors circulating that Bravo executives were holding me hostage in Andy’s clubhouse! Ultimately I decided it would be a good idea to protect myself and stay away from all of the negative energy. In the end, I felt bad that my actions may have reflected poorly on Carole because she had nothing to do with it. But as she always says, ‘this too shall pass.’

Jim:We all do dumb things when we are young.  I was legitimately concerned when you disappeared and thought Carole had you locked in her basement.  Now we know the truth – you were on an IV drip for dehydration singing “Hot in Here” because 80 degree apartments in New York….

Jim:So we can put this to rest once and for all, who really shot JR, I mean killed @thebravoholic?

Eric:I’m not exactly sure what happened with this “scandal.” Can we call it a scandal? I’m going to call it a scandal. However, what I realized after the fact was how passionate the Bravo fans are, and that is what makes Bravo such a powerful network. I was happy to see that some fans even joined together to create their own Bravoholic account called @Bravoholclique. Bravo has such a strong connection with the fans, so I’m happy to see the legacy of the Bravoholic live on.

Jim:As a recovering Bravoholic, I can validate that Bravo probably has the most loyal fans of any cable network.  PS – the streets are saying it was Jill Zarin who broke into the account. Personally, I think it was Milania.  She’s a mastermind that little one.

Eric: Oh boy. What street is that? I want to avoid it.

Jim:Peachtree Street, of course.  Oh wait, wrong city.   Any future projects that you are working on that you can share with us?

Eric:I’m working on getting Carole’s apartment down to a reasonable temperature. I’ll settle for anything below 75 degrees at this point.

Jim:Eric, it was a pleasure getting to know more about you and how you ended up working with America’s Princess.  I look forward to seeing you on #RHONY and cannot wait for the shi…um, I mean leg, to hit the fan!

Vicki Gunvalson Responds To Tamra Judge: "I Am A Lot Of Things, But An "Ass Kisser" Is NOT One Of Them!"

Vicki Gunvalson is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's explosive episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Vicki doesn't think Shannon is psychotic and thinks Tamra is a sh-- stirrer. Vicki also reveals she's going to remain neural and staying away from the drama. Vicki writes:

"Tonight's episode really made it difficult for me to watch. Although I actually "lived it" five months ago -- reliving it again made me sad. Seeing people that I care about be hurt by one another is brutal.

I have come to the belief that the TRUTH is the TRUTH. And in one way, shape, or form, the truth will always be revealed.

When Shannon told me she went to Heather's house to ask her about her divulging the email she got from David -- personally I would have done the same thing. I didn't see Shannon yell at Heather. I only saw her asking Heather in an attempt to try and get to the bottom of this mess just the way any of us would. Tamra telling Shannon she did not share this personal information about David's email, as you saw, was a lie. Tamra got caught, but I truly think she tried to cover herself because she didn't want to look like she was gossiping and didn't want to hurt Shannon by betraying her.

Regarding Terry saying "I want to take the Beadors down". . .I don't think he ever said that. I have known Terry to be nothing but a gentleman, and my analysis is that Tamra made this up for some reason and doesn't remember saying it to Shannon and I. I have no idea why she would make this up, but it's either that -- or he said it. It can't be anything else.

I felt bad for Lizzie's at her dinner party because as a new couple to this group I'm sure it was tough for them to figure out how to navigate through all this yelling and fighting. I think she did a good job on staying out of it. Her father's beach house was amazing right on the water. However I wish we all could have enjoyed it a little bit more.

Just for the record: Shannon is a great person. She's loyal, honest, and passionate about doing the right thing and being around TRUTH. I don't think Shannon is "crazy,""psychotic," or anything of the sort. She's passionate about the TRUTH. . .

There is not a lot for me to say in this blog other than I am trying to turn over a new leaf and stay clear and neutral from the drama. Tamra has called me an "ass kisser." I think what is more appropriate for her to say is that "I'm not a sh-- stirrer" the way she is. I am a lot of things -- but an "ass kisser" is NOT one of them!!!"

Aviva Drescher Shares An Inspirational Story And Explains Why She Joined The RHONY!

Aviva Drescher is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's of The Real Housewives of New York City. Aviva reflects on the good that has come out of the show and we she does it all to help people. Aviva writes:

"You never know how strong you are until strong is all you CAN be." -- Boston Marathon survivor and friend Celeste Corcoran

This season is drawing to an end here and the sun may be setting on the days in which a large audience can opine on my strengths and weaknesses on a weekly basis.

So many of you may be wondering why the heck I even stepped into this ring. I am part of a community of people who have physical limitations. I believe we all have an obligation to inspire each other to go, do, live, thrive, and encourage others. My interactions on the show with Heather Abbott or giving Jake his new legs is what the show has really been about for me. The rest has been quite simply total nonsense.

There are nearly 2.5 million people living with limb loss in the U.S. Globally, there are more than 1 million annual limb amputations, which is one every 30 seconds. The Amputee Coalition of America estimates that there are 185,000 new lower extremity amputations each year within the U. S. Among those living with limb loss the main causes are vascular disease (54 percent), which includes diabetes and peripheral arterial disease, trauma (45 percent) and cancer (less than 2 percent).

There were 16 people whose legs were blown off in the Boston Marathon bombings. More than half of them were women, which is unusual in a country where men make up the majority of amputees -- losing limbs in car crashes, construction accidents, and combat.

Men often wear their metal prosthesis exposed while women tend to like realistic looking "skins" and high heeled legs like the ones viewers see me wear on television. All of these specialized limbs including running, swimming, skiing legs, and so on are often not covered by health insurance policies. If the specialized limbs are covered by some insurance companies then the question is for how long? It's rarely more than a few years.

When I was asked to visit the Boston hospitals a few weeks after the bombings, I was uplifted to see that despite the physical work and great expense that lay ahead for the survivors, evil did not prevail. People had survived. Where there is breath, there is life, and many were open to my message -- which was that life without limbs is limitless.

Amputees can live full, functional, and active lives only hindered by those health insurance companies that frequently don't pay for the basics, or the extras like skin and specialized sports limbs, which allow amputees to get back to normal and do the activities they want to do and feel psychologically whole. When a breast cancer victim has a mastectomy, health insurance always pays for reconstructive surgery, as it should for a woman to feel normal, whole, and feminine if she so chooses. Why is it any different for an amputee? Why should an amputee child ever be deprived of a running leg? Or a teenage girl rejected for a high heel leg for her prom? Or a man denied a special spring limb and so on. Basic walking limbs, running limbs, cosmetic limbs, swimming limbs for amputees of all sexes, ages whatever the cause are rejected by health insurance companies all the time. It is immoral, wrong, and must be changed. It has been my mission to not only mentor new amputees, but to raise money for those who need limbs that insurance companies won't pay for. It is a very tough battle.

The next issue for amputees is finding a great prosthetist. I spent years from the age of six to 30 in pain going from one wrong prosthetist to the next -- and also without the technology today that affords cosmetic limbs, special sport limbs, etc. There is an art to making a comfortable prosthesis. It is a very specialized field.

When I found A Step Ahead Prosthetics 12 years ago in New York I learned of their motto, which they take very seriously. It is "form follows function." That means, you must start with the fit. It must be comfortable and designed specifically to each individual, their issues, and their goals. Only then will they move onto the aesthetics part which is a science called Cosmesis.

With prosthetist Erik Schaffer at A Step Ahead Prosthetics, I finally found comfort, spring in my step and beautiful limbs. It was so freeing to finally be able to walk and run without pain. It was wonderful to feel pretty and to look down and perceive two lifelike limbs instead of just one. Erik Schaffer is the owner and lead prosthetist at A Step Ahead, who imparts expertise and kindness to so many amputees around the world. Eriks team is stellar, patient, and compassionate. I thank you all for my quality of life and for the tremendous work you do for all amputees.

A Step Ahead Prosthetics has an entire department that fights tirelessly for its patients with their Health insurance Policies to get proper coverage. They are amazing. But what about those amputees whose insurance won't cover limbs? What will those 16 marathon survivors do five years from now when their insurance policies won't pay for the basics or the extras? What about the other 2.5 million amputees in America? Don't they have the right to walk, swim, dance, wear skirts, heels and participate in triathalons if they so choose?

Heather Abbott was the first Boston Marathon amputee I met on my first Boston visit. Today I am proud to call her my friend. She was not allowing terrorists nor her limb loss to hold her back not even for a minute. Naturally, I brought her to Erik, and today she wears a cosmetic high heeled comfortable limb. I am priviledged to learn so much from new amputees and their plights. I feel lucky to be part of a community where character is learned through tough experiences and people are so grateful for the little things in life."

Kristen Taekman On Her Marriage: 'Everyday We Grow And Learn, And We Really Are A Great Team'

Kristen Taekman is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Kristen talks how the show has helped her marriage and what she thinks of Sonja and Harry's relationship. Kristen writes:

"When your husband agrees to therapy it's time! The "mediator's" office for real looked like a lawyers office. I thought I was getting tricked into just signing! JK!

I wore my "LOVE ME TENDER" sweatshirt in case Josh needed a cheat sheet. Elvis is always with me supporting me -- always!

I felt that the therapist was great. He saw both of our sides and really offered some great advice. I find therapy is always great. It's an eye opener, that's for sure. It makes you stop, step back, and reassess whats really important in your life and your relationships. It brings you back to the roots, foundation, and core of what's really important and what really matters.

A lot of people think that Reality TV shows are not always the best for couples -- but, in Josh and my case, it's been the best thing for us. How often do you get a bird's eye view on your relationship? Imagine seeing both side of a fight? What you look and sound like when you are really mad at your partner or vice versa? Josh and I know what we need to work on and we are working out it. Our problem is communication, obviously, along with, well, life. It gets in the way. Having two small kids, work, the hustle bustle of NYC, and everything in between is just overall very hard to manage. We do our best to acknowledge our issues. It's easy to sweat the small stuff and forget about the big picture and what it takes to be a TEAM. But everyday we grow and learn, and we really are a great team. You don't get to see all the fun and laughter and teamwork we have the other 167 hours a week.

Carole's 50th Birthday party: The theme was Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The book was written in the mid 1990s with a great movie to follow. Leave it to Carole to have a super cool theme. Carole and Heather really were thoughtful with all wonderful details. Heather always goes above and beyond to make it special and organized to a T -- because she is a BOSS. . .in a very good way! I mean, for real, did you pick up on the amazing statue, the man walking the invisible dog, and the Savannah moss. Detail, detail detail! She asked us all to dress in black or white depending on if we felt good or evil.

Josh and I were feeling evil so we went all black. Heather's friend and make up artist made my amazing feather and butterfly fascinator. He also made the girls' eye masks, which turned out so cool

The party was so much fun the only sad part was hearing about Lu and Jacques breaking up. But on the bright side Harry and Sonja? Really is this really happening? Honestly, I love them together. Can’t wait to see what happens!"

LuAnn de Lesseps: Sonja And Harry Aren't Good For Each Other

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's explosive episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. LuAnn weighs in on the Sonja and Harry situation and shares her thoughts on her confrontation with Sonja over being the last to know about her break up with Jacques. LuAnn writes:

"Hi my friends! We are getting so close to the end of the season and I'm excited about how it ends. Hang in there for some REAL DRAMA! This week the drama continues as Carole is celebrating a big birthday this year and wants it to be perfect!

I understand why Carole was so demanding, because she is a perfectionist with great taste, but needs a little help in the organizational deptartment. And who better than her bestie Heather to get the job done! This was a big year for Carole (if you get my drift), so why shouldn't she get exactly what she wants? I felt bad for Heather, because she needed a team instead of a one man show to pull this off! Heather was wiped out after the party, but so glad she made Carole happy by putting a great event together. Holla!

I know both Harry and Sonja pretty well. I think they are cute together, but definitely not good for each other. They are both good friends, not lovers! That was over ages ago and everyone knows that, since Sonja and Harry both see other people all the time. I think he borrowed that ring from Ramona? A man who is serious about a woman doesn't borrow a ring or leave his girl at a party!

The whole world is in therapy, so why not get therapy for a troubled marriage? Talking and opening up about what bothers you opens up communication. If you can't manage that at home, then therapy is the way to go! I hope they will work it out, because I think they make a great couple. Even though Josh can come off tough on Kristen, he loves her and that is obvious to me!

I thought Aviva was terrific talking to the Boston marathon survivor. Who better than her to talk about loosing a limb. It showed a part of Aviva that I know is there, even though she doesn't always come across that way. The reality is that she is a warm person, who takes excellent care of her children and husband. She's just not great at managing girlfriends. LOL!

How can you not feel bad for any mother who cries in the car while sending her teenager off to college? It's so Ramona drama. Isn't this is the moment in a young girl's life where you need to be the pillar of strength and not fall apart at the seams before you put her on the plane? I understand her sadness, but don't think she handled it very well at all!

I wanted to be there for Carole's birthday, but I literally had to pry myself out of bed. I spent the previous days crying over my split with Jacques and didn't feel much like socializing. I called Carole and told her I'd stay home and she (being the bright girl she is) said that I had to come and get myself out of bed, and she was right. I needed my girlfriends that night and a lot of tequila, of which there was no shortage. I felt terrible being alone without Jacques. We've been together over four years, so I was vulnerable and shaky. When it came time for the song/speech, I was a little too tequila'd up, but we had fun! Unfortunately I had a major hangover the next day!

Speaking of hangovers, I'm sure I wasn't the only one! Surely Sonja had a doozy, because her aggressive reaction about my breakup with Jacques was unbelievable, I'd like to think she was drunk! Who says things like that? It was all about her being hurt to be the last to know. Yet she didn't ask me how I was? What does she expect? She throws me under the bus every chance she gets, so of course she will be the last to know. Honestly, her reaction says it all for me! DONE!

You will see how I handle the situation coming up on the reunion. Until then, enjoy the last episode. I really do have the last laugh."

Heather Thomson Weighs In On LuAnn And Jacques' Break Up And Carole's Birthday Party!

Heather Thomson is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Heather talks about the difficulty of planning a party for your demanding, yet adorable best friend and weighs in on LuAnn and Jacques' break up. Heather writes:

"Yummie! It's Carole's Birthday! A beautiful, well-adjusted, smarter-then-ever, and still sexy-as-hell 50 is no small feat -- and to do it so gracefully while staying youthful is admirable. And Carole has arrived! With a her London book tour for The Widows Guide to Sex and Dating underway and a birthday party looming with nothing done really (except an exquisitely drawn up document detailing her vision), my dear friend asked for my help to pull it together and see it through. . .And what are friends for if not for support. I'm in! She is the Birthday Girl after all, and who better to help these kids deal with the demands of an aging diva then the diva's aging best friend!?! Katherine and Eric came up to Yummie to meet with Shawna (my amazing assistant who deals with the everyday demands of the original bossy pants -- the best right hand anyone could ever ask for)! So, up here at big mama's house, the reveal of what I have gotten myself into is unraveling and I should have known!

My first tip off should have been the statue. . .The infamous Bird Girl statue, which was originally designed both as art and as a birdseed holder, and located at Bonaventure, Savannah's largest and hauntingly beautiful cemetery. (It was relocated in 1997 to the Telfair Museum of Artin.) Before leaving for London, Radzi and I had several updates about her bidding process on eBay to snag the famous statue. She had to have it and was treating herself for her 50th -- and it would be perfect for her party. I should have paid closer attention, as I thought the desire for this statue was a midlife crisis or something, but I was remiss in understanding the relevance of a project that would soon become my own. Carole was successful in placing the winning bid and is now the proud owner of a fine replica which we strategically placed at the party with shiny polished red apples in her bird seed palms.

This leads me to my first and only tip in dealing with a demanding, yet adorable, and delicious party planning perfectionist, who also happens to be an ocean away and obsessed with a Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil theme: Read the book! Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is atmospheric and southern gothic in tone. It depicts a wide range of eccentric personalities, (all of whom Carole wanted depicted), from in and around Savannah, Georgia. The book highlights many notable Savannah residents, one most notably, The Lady Chablis, a pre-operative transsexual woman and local drag queen and entertainer. Perfect! I've found our entertainment! Aside from the amazing DJ Peter Paul, I can have Carole serenaded! We have the most amazing and famous drag queens in NYC. We have the gorgeous Joey Aries! And of course, I have to have him. Although Joey has back-to-back sold-out shows, I know he can make it in time for cake!

Let me get my check list out: I believe a black and white cake was requested? Or was the butterflies? Spanish moss, 1000 white lights, 5000 white rose petals (will she count them?), mannequins, a fiddler, a fog machine, The Harvest Moon! (Yes, we hung it!), pistol props, the polished red apples, the snake handler! Snake handler? YES! All the characters from the book are here. . .Uhhh, for this, I'm going to need all the help I can get. . .

David Miller! Yes! He is a friend, a huge fan of the book, Midnight, and OMG, an amazing party planner. One could only ever ask a friend to help this last minute because I can handle the antique lace, and David has the invisible dog harness! Perfection. AND I'm officially nixing the chandelier transfer. Whew!

On the invitation, we asked everyone to come dressed in either black or white as the title of the book alludes to the notion of "midnight" as the period between the time for good magic and the time for evil magic: "The garden of good and evil." I asked my friend Terry to make some of his amazing masks for me and the girls. He's created them for fashion editorial shoots, and they will definitely add to the drama! I've enlisted my couturier, Nauman Piyarji, to be sure my husband is rocking a custom-made suit for Carole's big night. And if you think Mario looks surprisingly dashing, it's because Nauman, made his too! He makes the most beautiful suits and I always share my best fashion secrets, even with Ramona. I mean, a good courtier is hard to find, and tonight everyone should look fine! While Mario chooses Black for evil, Jon was creative and requested a 1/2 black and 1/2 white number which is exactly the way I like my gorgeous and good, sexy, bad-boy. I was the only other one who chose to wear white -- me and Sonja. If we aren't an angelic sight together, I don't know what is. I relied on my favorite designer Lorry Newhouse. And Carole!?! Wowza. She surprised even me in a red dress and grand entrance, mask and all. That she-devil in red! Unbeknownst to me, she secretly contacted Terry to switch up her mask color and Boom Bam Hello Ma'am -- I'M 50 bitches! #HOLLA! She looked gorgeous and I loved it!

Lu called earlier that day to tell me she and Jacques are taking a break and that she wasn't sure she should or could make the party. Lu, Jacques, and Jon and I spent a considerable amount of time together as couples and LuAnn has become a very close friend. Jacques and LuAnn had so much love for one another, but they had indeed been growing apart, and was it was becoming too recognizable for even them to ignore. It's hard when love just ain't enough, because that truly is the case with these two. Lu was heartbroken and didn't want to rain on Carole's parade with her pieces of broken heart. But I convinced her that Carole would only care to know that she was here with us instead of home alone and upset. Leaning on your friends is a part of friendship, and so Lu came to be with her friends and surround herself with a lot of love. We are there for her and she knows she can count on us.

Wait, did Harry just blow up Carole's 50th with a not engagement, engagement ring? Oops! How could I have forgotten bottled water! Thank god NYC is noted to have some of the most drinkable tap water in the world. . .who knew? Should have gotten some Aqua Hydrate from Puff when I called on Ciroc to create the beautiful back lit Ciroc theme bars made with his signature amaretto and coconut flavored bottles -- and of course straight up Ciroc and tequila! Speaking of Puffy, what the hell am I doing with that mic? I think that Puff Daddy signature drink has gone to my head, but A-hem! There is business to take care of here after all. . .Roasting Radzi! What is more appropriate, than roasting your best girlie on her 50th? Nothing! Especially when she makes it so easy. As I sat to pen a heartfelt speech for Carole, more commands from across the pond came floating through my inbox and my speech was done! Carole had written it for me. I had lace curtains to tea stain after all.

In the end, it was a great party but there was still one stone left unturned -- Joey Aries, where are you? While Carole's crazy theme cake was starring to melt, Joey Aries was on his third encore at Joe's Pub bringing down the house and I was SOL! While Shawna was on the phone begging his manager to "stop the encores," my reality hit me. He wasn't coming! And so, it was with a dripping birthday cake and a good buzz that I enlisted Lu-Lu to help me scratch something on the back of a napkin to sing for Carole. . .which went over like a lead balloon! I had my one moment-in-time on that Birdland stage, and I should have left it there. With all of the demands and details and the complicated planning, I wanted a big moment ending, but some things are just better left simple.

Happy Birthday to you Radzi! I love you to bits. I am so happy your celebration and your vision came to life, and I got to stand at your side to help you to see it through. It was a beautiful night with only one terrible birthday serenade, one broken heart, one fake engagement, and one sexy red dress, and it was all you baby! You are an inspiration.

And on the exact opposite note, one missing leg is coming up next! Tune in and we'll see you next Tuesday for our final week of Season 6 of The Real Housewives of New York City where tempers and limbs both fly. . ."

Carole Radziwill: 50 Never Looked So Good

$

Carole Radziwill is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Carole shares the toast you didn't see from her birthday, opines on the duality of life, and why even she needs a break. Carole writes:

"Dear Viewers and Fans,

I know. I didn't have a recap last week. I'm in Europe and time zones and jet lag and cross-continental cocktails are taking their toll. I have a few thoughts about last week, though.

First, I had no idea that entrepreneur rhymes with manure! I pronounce it Entrepre-noor (rhymes with door). Have I been mispronouncing this word my whole life? I love when I learn from the show.

Second, last week's episode didn't inspire me. It happens near the end of the season, I think. I have Housewife recap fatigue. Sonja was also fatigued from reading all of those emails all day. She needed a break so she asked Aviva over to tell her we all talked about her in Montana. If by "the whole time" Sonja meant "for a few minutes at dinner one night," then, yes. We were talking about Aviva the whole time. Ramona took it so far as a possible phone call, but by the time she walked back into the Antlers, to make the call (eight seconds later), we were all bored with asthma so didn't bother to call or even think of it again. The whole time? I laugh when the recap of the event never matches the scene.

Have you noticed that Sonja's stories never track?

There were some genuine moments though. Heather singing, me mailing. Everything Heather does is with style, grace, and talent. She can sing, too? She can knock out "Bill Bailey" on a dime, with Billy Stritch? I love her anyway. My talents are much less obvious, but I do write a mean suck-up letter to my big mouth friends. That scene could have been longer, too, had anyone been interested. Were you? I sold Russ' piano on Craigslist for $2,000 and two muscly moving men came to haul it away in the middle of all that mess. It made me a little sad, then Mark, my contractor, got grumpy with my change orders -- so there was tension. You might have loved it! Then after I signed a million letters I walked to Lenny's with three big boxes of books. Remember Lenny, my mailman from last season? He's 92 years old now and he gets grumpy, too. He wasn't pleased when I spilled the boxes of books all over the floor of his mailroom. So you also missed a grumpy Lenny. (I love Lenny.)

I'm still on vacation. The Amalfi coast was beautiful, then Rome and a visit to the Vatican where a sweet Aussie tourist noticed me and asked me for a selfie. We chatted, but I declined the photo. It's the Vatican! Though I took it as a sign that God approves of my decision to appear on a reality show. I made a quick pass through Paris, and now it's London, my second favorite city in the world. And then back to my favorite. . .(New York.)

It's My Party and I'll Have Butterflies If I Want To
Wait, I'm in London in real life and also in reality life. Life imitating life imitating art. Weird coincidence? Or maybe not.

Yes, I left instructions! I was landing in NY one day before the party, there was no room for error. I'm a perfectionist and also, BOSSY. Kate and Eric are clever, but I had to call in the Big Guns. As the old adage goes, if you want something done give it to the busiest person you know. Holla!

I know you've all noticed and I'm coming clean right now, so don't tweet that I'm a hypocrite. Yes. Heather and I have the same glasses. I copied her. Or she copied me. We bought them together at Moscot on 6th Avenue. We both loved them and we both bought them.

But apparently Heather and I do not share that same love of butterflies and chandeliers hanging in trees lit by a low rising Harvest moon. Who doesn't love that? Option # Last. What? Sonja didn't get a permit to throw Milou's ashes into the river so I don't see how my little butterflies would be a problem.

Love Me Tender
I admire the subconscious not-so-subtle message in Kristen's Love Me Tender sweatshirt. Don't all married couples have this exact same conversation at some point in their relationship, or maybe at several points, and maybe minus the bag?

Wife: You take me for granted.
Hubby: You don't understand the pressure I'm under at work.
Wife: You ignore me.
Hubby: You don't understand the pressure I'm under at work.
Wife: I don’t mind if you ignore me as long as you buy me a Chanel bag.

Does that sound familiar to you? Maybe this will too. "Where's my f---ing Chanel bag?" You’ll thank me next week. (Watch the video HERE).

The Devil Wore Prada
Yes, I’m the devil in disguise. You got me. The devil is always the one trying to lighten the mood. The one who shows up in a bear costume, the one who dresses up like a mermaid to raise money for hurricane victims, the one who hooks up with a girlfriend's ex….oops wait. That wasn’t me, that was Sonja. My bad. I'm the devil.

It's My Party and Lu Can Cry If She Wants To

I’m BOSSY. Yes. But the place looks amazing. There was a harvest moon, headless mannequins, candelabras, chandeliers, antique lace, and Spanish moss. The snake handler got held up and the butterflies came dead. We still came out ahead.

Another engagement! That makes three just this season. Although mine has the most credibility because I called it what it was. . .a joke. Three engagements and no marriages. The Bachelor has better odds.

Where was my toast? It didn't make the cut. Were you interested in my toast? It was my party after all! I gave a toast and you missed it. It was funny and better in person than on paper. I twirled and did other embarrassing sorts of stuff. I said nice things about all the ladies. They all loved it. Here. Read it out loud in a mirror and remember to check out your great ass. Because you have one, too.

50 Never Looked So Good
"Welcome to the Garden of Good and Evil. You know which one you are. Thank you for celebrating my birthday. If I knew I was going to have this ass at 50, I would have gone into pole dancing instead of journalism which wasn't nearly as lucrative. But I have learned a few things. . .

"I've always taken my work seriously but for those of you who know me well, I've never taken myself seriously. And despite prowling around in the woods like a bear and making my friends dress like mermaids. . .I feel like I've grown up, almost.

"Lately I've been thinking about the duality of life. The proverbial Midnight, in the Garden of Good and Evil. A place where there's no generosity without envy; no love without hate; no laughter without also sadness. It's the duality of courage and fear. As Eleanor Roosevelt said (and I quote her often) 'Do one thing everyday that scares you.' I sometimes do five, and not on purpose.

"For Kristen, this duality means throwing yourself off a mountain cliff and having faith that you will land on your feet. It means knowing you're so much more than a pretty face.

"For LuAnn, it means finding your passion in humor and being unafraid to pursue it, even knowing that the critics abound.

"For Ramona, this means taking comfort in knowing you've given your daughter wings large enough to fly higher and further than you could ever have imagined, and finding peace in that.

"For Sonja, it means literally burying the past and allowing yourself a new bright future.

"Lastly, for my dear dearest friend Heather, it means never backing down from what you believe is right. She fights the good fight, whether to save a child's life, defend a friend, or deal with her own health scares. And she never ever lets you see her sweat.

"For me, it means having the courage to allow true love into my life again. I know, Kristen -- a businessman! Or the courage to publish my first work of fiction and not allow jealousy and petty gossip to cloud the truth. I take pride in all of my achievements and now this one, too.

"I've learned in my 50th year that objects in your rear view mirror are much much smaller than they appear. Don't look back. Don't second guess yourself. Live everyday as if you were dying.

"When I look back on all my experiences, both good and bad -- from where I started to where I am now -- I suppose none of my life really makes sense, or maybe all of it does. I'm smack in the middle of it now. It's not my job to understand it yet -- it's just my job to live it.

"I'm living it and loving it and I’m in awe of every moment. I'd like to raise my glass and toast to living life with nothing less than courage and awe."

That was the toast you missed. I wish you'd been there. Until next week. . ."

Sonja Morgan Weighs In On Her Harry Situation With LuAnn

Sonja Morgan is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Sonja dishes on taking things to the next level with Harry, her issues with LuAnn, and of course, the brunette devil. Sonja writes:

"I think Heather did a great job with Carole's party. In fact, she asked me to do a skit with Joey Aria the cabaret performer and a drag artist, but at the last minute that fell through. The girls did a pretty good job themselves entertaining us, especially Heather reading Carole's self written speech. Hilarious! And, no Carole's demands were not excessive. It's her party! I get fanatical when planning.

I committed to getting a dog with Harry very much the way I committed to getting a dog with my daughter, very well knowing I'd be the one in charge of the dog! Edward at The Dog Store is who I bought Marley from for my daughter, and I love his dog Woody! He is a real star. He is so smart. After the funeral, I knew eventually I would want to get another poodle. So now it's a commitment poodle with Harry? How did it get to this? My new puppy Rouge actually ends up being a rescue dog. Long story and that comes out later.

I don't know what I think that Harry can prove to me at this point with these gestures, but there's always hope! He has been in my life for almost three decades and he always will be. I adore him. He's a soulmate, and we have an undeniable chemistry and ease together. Like Ramona says I light up around him. Carole, Lu, Aviva and Heather have all said they observe the same. We are very close and speak every morning. I know him like the back of my hand.

It brought me to tears again seeing Ramona pack Avery. You could cut the nerves with a knife. I will be experiencing the same very soon. I am also very close to my daughter. I am home every day 3:45 pm to be with her after school. We have dinner every nite at 6 pm. I don't miss my weekends with her. It will be hard for me as well.

I hardly ever see Avery crack. My daughter is the same. She is conservative and holds her emotions close to herself. Everything Ramona and I do is to make sure our daughters are provided for. We are both independent hard working women. This is a heavy chapter in life for mothers.

Speaking of emotions, seeing Aviva with the Boston marathon survivor, Heather Abbot at A Step Ahead reminds me that she has a sensitive caring side. I think the other girls lose sight of this at times. She has feelings, too. Even though she says tough things, it's a shield. In fact, she is tough on herself. I said that last year.

I really lost it seeing Ramona in the car taking Avery to the airport. It was very moving. Choked me up. So many changes for Ramona. I don't relish it myself, but I am strong. I will get through it because it's what is best for my daughter's growth and independence. What is important is our children know how much we love them and that we are there for them. That's the stability they need.

I love having my tarot cards read and get them done often because I find them inspirational. Very rarely do I get a reading where someone says there's a devil in my group. Thomas John really had me going! I had to go through every brunette in the group, and luckily he said it wasn't Carole. We have yet to find out who the brunette is. So many brunettes. So many bleached blondes. So many devils. So little time to analyze. I better call Roberta Tavassoli, one of my other psychics, and ask her! Oh, and I have been enjoying Mary Ellen Armstrong readings also. So many great Psychics so little time. And then there are astrologers. . .ah, recreation. I haven't even touched the iceberg of healers and Feng Sui. No less then 35 on Team Sonja!

I felt very bad when I heard Jacques and LuAnn broke up. I knew this day was coming as I pointed out at the Life and Style party last year because I always knew Jaques, being young, would want to have a family and LuAnn wants a different lifestyle. I just didn't want LuAnn to lose precious time. I want her to be happy in the long run. I want the forever for her and for her to not be in limbo. She said this bickering has been going on for months, yet never discussed any distress with me in Montana, on our long flight back, or in our bike ride. Never a word at any of our dinners, lunches, parties. Pretended everything was fine yet took her stress out on me saying I'm a bad friend and spend too much time with Ramona and have a babbling facialist that I should have put a plug in? (When I explained I goaded Satoko to tell me what was being said and Kristen and I gave it no credence). What does that have to do with what is really going on? We had no idea there was an imminent break up.

Now I understand why she's been so edgy and taking things out on me saying I'm not being a good friend. She's obviously sensitive now. All is not good in paradise as I described. When I confront her at Radzi's party for being duplicitous she says it's only been weeks when she just told the other girls it's been months. Lu and I discuss EVERYTHING. Real friends are not embarrassed. I don't know the real reason she didn't share her true situation with Jacques with me when we discussed our futures several times.

Harry never ceases to surprise me so when he gave me the ring it was typical Harry style, impromptu! What is also very Harry is to commit but not commit! He gives me a ring but not THE ring. I know Harry means what he says. He does want to take it to another level and even though his action seems last minute he has been thinking about this for some time. Like decades! We have discussed it many times. We will just have to see if Harry can back it up and commit to his commitment to commitment.

I confronted Lu about not telling me about Jacques because I'm very upfront and straightforward with my friends. I was very surprised she did not tell me, who she says is like family, and told others who she knew for a short time before me and at the same party. Meanwhile, she's been ragging on me about everything in a passive aggressive fashion saying that I haven't been there for her when she hasn't been upfront with me. Her reaction that I made her break up about myself is just not true.

My point is: how can I be a friend to her if she doesn't share what's going on in her life? We should just be party friends then. She shouldn't act concerned about my businesses and personal affairs and then be the queen of CRAFT (can't remember a freaking thing) after I begrudgingly share personal business details with her -- yet she doesn't share with me. It's better we keep it truly balanced and reciprocal.

Tune in next week to see how Lu and I deal with the Harry situation. It's really a deja vu. Great thing about knowing each other for a while is. . .we know each other. We really don't change our stripes. I speak my mind. I state where I stand but I don't hold a grudge. I love and support the people that support me. I can't change people though. I need to live my life and I can't control anyone else's life. Onwards and upwards! So. . .catch me if you can."

Ramona Singer: Where Did the Time Go With Avery?

Ramona Singer is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Ramona reflects on taking Avery to college, Sonja and Harry's relationship, and what a good party really needs. Ramona writes:

"I was amused by all of Carole's requests for her party. I entertain constantly at my homes. To me, a successful party is not built not upon the ambiance, but rather the correct combination of guests, alcoholic beverages, and, naturally, great food. We know Carole does not eat, so she could care less about that LOL.

I thought Heather had the patience of a saint with Carole and did a great job of pulling everything together.

I really don't know what happened to LuAnn and Heather's voices that night. They were both so off-key. It must of been too much tequila on their parts!

When Avery called me in to help her pack, the reality of her leaving was finally here. It was a very emotional moment helping Avery pack for college. It's the first major move to her adulthood and separation from her family.

Taking her to the airport, I was flooded with emotions. How did this happen so fast? Where did the time go? It seemed like yesterday I was still picking her up at kindergarten.

Harry and Sonja always had a special bond. I was happy to hear he wanted to make a commitment to making a commitment. . .And it may not of been "the ring" but it was at least a ring. To each their own and whatever works."

Recap: RHONY Season 6 - Episode 19: Something About Harry

by: Seth Riley

It's the next to last episode of the season and things are ramping up.  Starting out the episode, we see Kate and Eric Goldie, Carole's assistant and her adorable "Vice President of Social Media" respectively, meeting with Heather at her office to discuss the details of Carole's 50th birthday party.  Carole is still on her book tour in London and Heather has agreed to take the reigns in planning the bash.  Ms. Radziwill has chosen the theme of Midnight of Garden of Good and Evil, and she has left out no detail.  Among her requests: 1,000 white lights, Spanish moss on the tables, 5,000 white rose petals, chandeliers from her home, and caged butterflies as centerpieces, as well as polished red apples to incorporate a Garden of Eden theme.  In response to caged butterflies, Heather tells Carole, who is on the phone from London, "I'd like that as option number last." In one last reasonable and simple request, Carole adds that she would like a snake handler...oh, and a psychic.  In her talking head, Carole says, "Fog machine, harvest moon in the trees, lace around the front door, pistols...not much.  What makes a party great are the details." I love this woman.

Meanwhile, Sonja and Harry are at a pet shop where Harry wants to take their relationship to the next level by buying them a puppy.  She says, "You think I'm ready for a puppy?," and Harry says "we" are ready.  This is akin to having a baby to save a marriage, but on a much smaller scale.  Sonja tells the cameras that Harry has cheated before, stating, "I'd have to Velcro his ass to a couch to get him to stay committed." Sonja is well aware of Harry's ways, but you can see in her eyes that she really loves him and she tries to but her fears aside.  Unfortunately for Sonja, not only has he cheated on her, he's cheated on others too, and we all know the cliche: Once a cheater, always a cheater.  (Sorry for the cliche, Carole)  As they order the poodle puppy that Sonja will likely be raising as a single mother, I see her other dog sitting in his open carrier hanging from a hook.  This makes the mystery of the dog drowning in the fountain not so mysterious.

One dysfunctional relationship over, we see Kristen and Josh in couple's therapy.  Now I do not mean to be a skeptic, but the last time I remember seeing couple's therapy on Bravo was when Russell and Taylor had theirs filmed for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  Needless to say, I would stray from airing my therapy sessions after that.  There was the exception where Joanna Krupa dragged Romain to therapy because he wouldn't have sex with her, but I'm going to leave that one alone.  If things are still bad, Romain, give me a buzz.  Josh and Kristen's attire sums up the problem with the relationship.  Josh is wearing his trusty, ever present EBoost tee, and Kristen is wearing a sweatshirt that says "Love Me Tender." I know Kristen is a ride or die Elvis fan, but this is too much.  They are literally wearing their hearts on their sleeves.  Josh is all EBoost and Kristen is begging for love and affection.  When the therapist asks when was the last time the two had a romantic date, Josh remembers a night two weeks ago where they had a lovely, romantic meal.  Kristen seems to remember differently, as her eyes well up and she reveals that she has a picture of Josh leaning on a fire hydrant and talking on the telephone while Kristen sat alone.  Kristen feels he does not acknowledge her presence and wonders if he loves her at all. The therapist asks them to tell one another what they value about each other and Kristen says what an excellent provider he he, how she feels protected, how he is a great man and she adores him.  Josh offers nothing of the sort.  He does offer a quip that makes me somewhat queasy.  When Kristen says that if she is understanding, she gets a great dinner and an expensive handbag, Josh says, "If you're a really good girl, you'll get ice cream after dinner." I'm not sure if this was intended as a double entendre, but it comes off that way, making Josh seem more arrogant than ever...and making me want to brush my teeth.

Across town, Ramona is helping Avery pack for school.  For once, Avery is having an anxiety attack and Ramona--yes, Ramona Singer--is teaching her calming breathing techniques.  How does Ramona know these?  When did she learn?  I thought her coping technique was to inhale a bottle of Ramona Pinot but, alas, she knows breathing exercises.  Two days later, we see Ramona, Mario and Avery headed to the airport for Avery's college sendoff.  Ramona is losing it and I feel for her, but that only lasts until her next scene.  We are shown a montage of Avery growing up before our eyes, from a kid into a beautiful young woman.  And with that, Avery has flown the coop.
Finally, we are given one scene with Aviva.  She has accompanied Heather Abbott to look at prosthetics.  Heather Abbott is a Boston Marathon bomb survivor who lost her lower leg.  To her credit, Aviva visited her in the hospital and the two have become friends.  Aviva manages to work in her favorite phrase: "Life without limbs is limitless." However, I refuse to poke fun at Aviva for this, even though I feel this scene is Bravo rehabbing her image.  No matter what we see on camera, I truly believe that Aviva does a great deal of good supporting amputees.  She oven stoops to a level many never would for fame, but she does use that fame for some good.  At the end of the scene, we see that "A Step Ahead," the charity Aviva works with, is giving Heather a prosthesis free of charge.  While I give Aviva props, I still am calling #ScriptedByBravo.

Across town, Sonja has decided that, with her growing feelings for Harry, she needs some guidance.  What does one do when one needs guidance?  If you are Sonja, you meet your "Christian Mystic" Thomas John at a steakhouse for a card reading.  Christian Mystic may be my favorite job title ever.  He reads Sonja's cards and he tells her she is intuitive, protected in the spirit world, her money will balance out, as well as her issues with her home.  Then, for good luck, he does one last card.  "Oh sh_t," me mutters.  It's the female devil card! There is a devil in Sonja's group, a brunette devil.  Sonja's first question: "Is her name Carole." When he says no, Sonja says, "That's very disappointing." She wonders whether it is Heather or Luann, but she is leaning towards LuAnn.

Back at the party space, Heather is in a frenzy getting all of Carole's details in order when in walk Carole and Goldie.  Heather is the best, but she is none too happy to see Carole as "more demands are coming out of her." The first crisis is that there will be no snake handler.  Heather explains that there was a permit problem with the snake in a restraunt.  Carole questions her and Heather quips that she isn't aware of snake handler permit protocol.  After seeing to some details, Carole sits down in the middle of the venue for a manicure.  Heather goes to join her but Carole tells her she has to stay busy bossing everyone around.  When the two discuss who is on the guest list, Carole says that Aviva is left off, but that she can come to the next party, "The Garden of Evil and Evil." Burn.  All the women dress as good or evil and the party is beautiful.  Jonathan passes by in his white dinner jacket and I swoon.  Meanwhile, Heather shows Kristen the butterfly centerpieces, which are all rapidly dying.  LuAnn show up solo and Mario asks about Jacques.  LuAnn has to tell them that the two have broken up.  Always sensitive, Ramona tells the camera,"LuAnn just says they're gonna take time apart.  That's a wussy excuse." She's so sensitive; I cannot believe LuAnn didn't share all of the intimate details with her.  Back to Heather, who realizes she got mannequins and butterflies but forgot water.  Oops.
Carole finally arrives and is stunning in a red peplum dress, looking the best I have ever seen her, with the adorable Goldie at her side.  She states that she has not celebrated a birthday since her husband died and she's surprised she wants to celebrate it, but she is happy to turn 50.  Inside, LuAnn breaks down and Heather offers suport.  Carole says, "It's my party and you can cry if you want to." She tells the camera, "I don't want to be the center of attention anyway," so she's happy about LuAnn, but not about the breakup of course.

Across the patio, Harry pulls Sonja aside and says he wants to make a deeper commitment.  He puled out a ring.  It is NOT an engagement ring, but an I love you, let's commit ring.  Sonja is happy.  He wants the ring to prove to her that he loves her and wants her and they share a kiss in front of a watching crowd.  Heather's toast to Carole is perfect.  It is a reading of Carole's email about what she wants at the party and it is absolutely charming and Carole turns as red as her dress.  The best part of it is when she writes, "Don't say 50 is the new 30.  I hate cliches, and 30 isn't that great anyway." Sonja has, in the meantime, discovered that LuAnn has broken up with Jacques and she reacts like any friend would: fury that she was not notified.  LuAnn knew Sonja was jealous of her so how could Lu be so cruel as to withhold this from Sonja?  LuAnn tells the camera, "I'm so happy she's found a way to make my breakup about her." When Sonja says she knew Jacques wasn't forever, LuAnn digs in by saying she's not so sure Harry is a forever mate either.

In a sweet and fun moment, Heather and LuAnn sing Carole a birthday song.  It is hilarious.  However, Ramona heard there would be a singer and says she was expecting "Tony Bennett or Puff Daddy," adding, "That's really lame....I'm not feeling it." At this moment, my sympathy for her over Avery's departure has dissipated and I think, B_tch, were you expecting JLo?  Go to Molly Sims' house and get out of my face.  Soon, Sonja confides in Ramona that Harry has presented her a ring because he loves her and doesn't want to lose her.  Ramona says she gave him a speech about it and that she and Sonja are alike: hard outside but mushy marshmallows inside.  Marshmallow roast anyone?  As this conversation is taking place, we see a randy looking Harry approach a newly single LuAnn, whom he tells she is "stellarly beautiful." Although we are not privy to the whole conversation, we know their conversation and their history.  As Sonja decides it is time to go, she looks for Harry, who has just ditched her in a cab with LuAnn, the brunette Devil.
To Carole, Heather and Goldie: I forgive you guys for not calling me.  However, I live in Savannah, the Garden of Good and Evil.  I have met John Berendt, Lady Chablis and many of those crazy characters.  Additionally, I know the locales like the back of my hand.  Guys, I could have added some insight and authenticity to that party!  But since I love you all, should you come to Savannah, I will give you a personalized tour, including Mercer House, which, according to local rumor, Jackie Kennedy once looked into purchasing.  Okay you three, you are forgiven.

Until next week, I, like you, will be googling the way legs can be used as weapons and watching out for devils of all hair colors, even gingers.  Thanks for reading!
